heat ceramic rollers. the cheapest i've seen is on ebay.
If you want heat roller you might check second hand places. I seen them there many many time. That's where I got the couple sets that I have. One of them has all large size rollers. They aren't ceramic, but they work well. Heat rollers were all that I used to use years ago. Now, I mostly use a pony tail. Big Grin

I can help ya with that. Use a Reynold's Oven Bag [reynoldsovenbags.com] bag, it will be perfect every time. Nice and moist.
I forgot to add that I do rub it down with butter. They also cook a lot faster.

Alrighty, I'm finishing up list, printing any last minute coupons (I think I'm done) and going to head to the hour away town with a Target and a Kohls and a Walgreens.

I got the Target Scrubbing Bubbles $5 Gift card coupons this time. I'm going to go look -- but if there is a deal and someone wants to just hand it right over Barney style I would be grateful.

Now, I have to recheck and recheck that dang Walgreens thread. I swear Walgreens deals can turn a normally intelligent person into a blathering idiot.

I'm going to take along some of my low carb rolls, a string cheese or two, bottled water and if I my hot dogs are those individually wrapped ones, one or two of those.

Job hunting sucks! I can only work part time during the day because I have to be home with my kids @ night. Trying to find a job that will let me work certain hours isnt happening right now and its so frusterating!! I can only work like 4 hours a day and I havent been able to find anything close to that. I'm ready to Stress
what kind of job are you looking for? it's really funny you say that.

my bff owns an independent pharmacy and she has been having the toughest time finding somebody to work the day shift, esp when all her part-timers went back to college in aug. she was actually in a huge bind when her regular morning person suddenly quit early on her. and then the person she hired decided not to even take the job a few days b4 they were supposed to start. she was so stressed b/c she had nobody at all. in desperation she hired somebody who all her other employees told her to fire b/c he was creating more work for them. so she let him go.

if you live in an urban area, you may be able to find work covering the lunch shift, like 9-1 or 10-2 in retail or food service.

otherwise, you may need to work like 9-2 or 9-3. then the owner can find somebody getting out of school to do 2-9 or 3-9.

you eat salad. you could always get a side salad from mcd's instead of an ice cream cone for your dog. can you imagine it's face if you tried to give it a salad instead of ice cream LMAO

your hours really limit you to retail or office. it was a long time ago but i've done both. and the hiring part never changes. my first job out of college was asst mgr and then operations mgr in a ubiquitous clothing chain. i can give you pointers. what kind of job experience do you have?

actually retail should be really gearing up right now to hire seasonal for xmas so that would be the easiest place to look. the only thing is they are not going to give you decent hrs till later in the season.

She will eat salad if it has dressing and stuff. I did get her a cheeseburger once and she sort of looked at me, looked at the window, looked at me, looked at her sandwich. Gave up and ate it. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Actually, last time we went I got a salad a Subway. They have the "turn any sub into a salad" deal. It was $5 and it was pretty huge. I got roast beef and since I hadn't had anything else too eat and figured it would be within my carbs, I got some onions and black olives in there. Mayo for dressing. It wasn't a bad deal and was pretty good.

If I want something hot and fast I will get a double cheeseburger and throw away the bun.

So the whole time I am shopping I will be looking over my shoulder waiting for some lady with a bunch of coupons to pop up and shove a veggie at me! And I will know who she is.

Scratchhead

has anyone tried the Tide TQ first deal mentioned yesterday or the day before? I'd love to try it, but not if I'm gonna go splat again. I hear the bald strong man calling my name. . .

if it doesn't work, I'll just stick with Publix, and get $1.50/1 MQ and $1.50/1 TQ (competitor) off on the small 50 oz bottle, free bounty wyb 3 and end up with Breast Cancer Awareness Pink pans for giving away.

hug How stressful for you, hope he/ she wasn't the one training you. Although this may work in your favor, on boss wishing they had there old employee back,
and comparing your new job performance to their experiance.

Hope your day gets better

Oh, wow! Good luck! When I worked in retail, the company was bought out and all the merchandise was sent to outlets and an entire store full was shipped in. My District Manager walked out and quit in the middle of all of it, taking all of the paperwork with her. We had 2 semi loads full of clothes, and not a clue of how to set it.

I've worked at two Child Care centers, Target, Casual Corner ( retail clothing store ) and at a couple diff. restaurants. Ive worked off and on since I was 17 ( I'm 30 ) but for the most part Ive been a stay at home mom which I cant do anymore. I'm seperated from my boys father.

Come work with me! I need an office manager soooo bad who is honest and can actually do some work. 4 hours a day would be perfect. Get your behind over here! bounce

Will try and catch up on the chat. But, had to say we just got back from 3 days in Colorado. Ahhh - beautiful state, beautiful weather. We passed several targets and I felt that old familiar pull to go in, but since I purposely went couponless I didn't go in. It was actually nice in a strange way to know that there was no reason to go in Target. It was a Target break for me.

But, now it is time to fill my addiction. Gotta get caught up on the current deals!

this could work in your favor. if you can really get up to speed fast, you might be able to get your boss' job.

in any case, sorry and good luck!
