Well.... that is tough. I don't know yet. I used to hate cooking because something always, always went wrong. Then I realized I was cooking with shitty pans and my oven temp never stayed properly (it was broken, a lot) and the burners had cold spots on them. So when I moved and got better stuff, viola, stuff tasted better. I just get upset because I feel like a failure when things don't go perfect. I try to cook at home (TRY) 5-6 days a week. It has been going well. I post all my pics on FB and if I remember, I post them here or on Mals thread. I posted last nights dinner on Mals thread. I am getting better at it and enjoying it more now.

I think we have tried a dinner thread more than once here but it never seems to stick.

FD making homemade tortillas is so easy. It just takes practice to make them perfectly round. The flour tortillas taste so much better when they're freshly made.

i'm not a vegetarian, but i have issues with meat and as the years go by, i tend to eat more tofu and less real meat. it's not because i feel bad for the animals or anything. i've always had a problem eating meat that is on a bone. lately, i will avoid it entirely just for fear that i'll encounter some kind of gristle or fat or whatever. it makes me squeamish Sick and if i take a bite of chicken that has one of those gristly hard pieces in it, i will immediately lose my appetite laugh out loud

tl;dr - i have issues with meat, and usually i skip it entirely and opt for tofu or eggs.

but i will never ever ever stop eating bacon LMAO

Corn too! I wasn't big on corn until I tried the homemade variety.

I highly recommend giving this episode [youtube.com] of Good Eats a watch if you've not seen it before, FD.
