Mostly I was just giving you a hard time. You COULD move most of it yourself or with limited help, but you're still working so you don't have a lot of time to be doing a lot of it yourself. You can do a better job by selling it to me under the convenience and time factors involved!

laugh out loud we did that once (move everything ourselves) from our apartment to our condo, but the move was about 10mins drive, and we threw out/sold 1/2 the furniture on the way. It was a PITA, but I agree completely do-able.

And I said no IRL friends HERE, not at all Mad Plenty of friends where I grew up (whom I see everytime I drive back) and some friends where we're thinking of moving Dontknow

That's probably going to be the most cost effective option.

I take it you already check the one way rental truck prices for comparison. I'd still get a full quote from one of the full service places that's the cheapest to use as your comparison.

Then you'll be able to find a break even number for labor costs if you go the rental/WriteMyEssay option while factoring in the cost of the inconvenience of doing a majority of the packing yourself.

Yep I did check the prices a little while ago, I have it written down at home. I'm still doing research and exploring costs and options.... I don't want to put the cart before the horse and start getting real quotes -- as we have a few states that we're considering moving to, some are closer to friends/family than others laugh out loud

So anything in between those 2 cities/states is fine with us (we set a "minimum" and "maximum" distance laugh out loud). The closer to friends/family is better obviously, but it also depends on the type of work both of us would be doing and the cost of living and housing costs, etc. etc. etc.

So it sounds as though even if this one lead doesn't pan out exactly you're looking to probably move soon anyway.
