Facepalm BT just came to me while I was on the phone... When I hung up he blurted out "I was playing 'Escape from Halloweentown' and a scary clown scared me!" ...and burst into tears.

I didn't laugh to his face, but said "And this is why you should stay on the sites that I say are OK."

Waiting for nightmares tonight. Doh

If something calls for kosher salt, is there really that much of a difference from regular salt? (You can tell I don't cook often, right? laugh out loud)

I'm not sure. I'll let someone else field that. I always just salt to taste.

Jenni, that 365 blog is awesome! She has so many easy fish and vegetarian recipes! I'm so excited! Woot Now all I need to do is steam/bake some veggies to go with them.
Any tried and true tips on making veggies last longer?

Either is fine. Kosher is good because it's a bigger grain and tends to be better for meat-based applications. In your case, it shouldn't matter. hug

Ok, thanks! Maybe it's just the blogger's personal preference.
Buy the steamer bags from Ziplock. Just drop them in fresh and pop them in the microwave. The time is right on the bag!
