I need to go to bed at a decent hour if I want to go to yard sales tomorrow. I don't know if I will or not. I took a long nap to get rid of a sinus headache. It helped, but it will keep me awake.

I've gotta go wrap presents. Tomorrow (well today for your weird Eastern time zone people) is Elizabeth's birthday and she's 12 Smilie I got the rest of her stuff today but haven't wrapped a thing. Then tomorrow we're going over to my parents house and having a party there. Patrick comes home either Monday morning around 2 a.m. or if he stops at a hotel he'll be home Monday afternoon instead.

I was supposed to get my nails done tomorrow but don't even feel like doing that (which says A LOT since I get them done faithfully every other week!) I ended up calling tonight and canceling the appointment Weeping I wanna feel better Frown

You can find it in the BIOS. Or there's a lot of utilities out there you can install to extract it from within Windows.

    • Either use Windows Key + R then type "cmd" and enter, or
    • Start > type "comm" in the search box, then select "Command Prompt" for Vista/7 or
    • Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt for XP (I think)
  • Past the following command -
    Code:
    wmic bios get serialnumber
    in the Command Prompt by right clicking and selecting Paste. Control + V doesn't work in Command Prompt.
  • ...
  • Profit!!!
That's your Service Tag.

You can also get it by going to the Dell site [dell.com] and use "Find My Service Tag" but my method above is far cooler!!
