puppy finally peed.
went back inside, wouldn't move from bottom of stairs, just sat.
so i laid down next to her on my back.
she stood with her two front paws on my stomach, looking around
then laid down next to me on her belly for a few minutes
then found her butt and just went to town on it for a few minutes.
now shes laying in bed with me

Glad she seems a bit better. But, be thankful she went after her butt and not yours Wink

I hope tomorrow she perks up and is running around in her new home.

laugh out loud It's ok. I don't either. Patrick on the other hand will go in any restroom anywhere. I'm always like "How can you DO that?" and he says "Dontknow When you've gotta go why hold it in?" which makes sense but I still can't do it, lol.

That's how J is and he is only 16! Last weekend we were in an Old Chicago with my bio dad and step mom. He asked me if I could take him to a gas station to after we left to poop. I asked why he couldn't use the restroom there. His response was "Because we're in Green Bay and the Packers are playing. This joint is full of men right now and I'm about to destroy the bathroom. Out of respect for them I thought I would destroy the gas station bathroom."

WTF?!?! He is his father's son!

Okay so is this something that I should be concerned about? I just had to carry it outside to see if it would poop. It didn't. Why isn't he moving on his own? The foster parents said he 'gets into everything' and said he jumps on file cabinets and couches. He won't even move!

Rofl2 It's like..they're proud of it or something. I've known Patrick for 14 years and have been married to him for 7 and he jokes that he doesn't even know if I poop, lol.

Can you call the foster parents and ask them? Maybe they did give him tranquilizers or something or maybe he's just really really unsure of his surroundings and it'll take him a day or two to feel comfortable walking around on his own. Maybe the foster parents can tell you how he reacted when they first took him in.

I would definitely be concerned at this point. You have had her long enough that, even if they did medicate her, it should have worn off by now. Like Autumn suggested, can you contact the foster parents and see if she normally acts this way or is it possible she got into something poisonous before you picked her up. I would be concerned since this doesn't seem like normal scared dog behavior.
