Moo is actually a really sweet, fun and caring person. She just has a low tolerance for people who complain in many of their posts.

This will probably teach me to read the whole thread before replying again. Even though that's usually way less fun for me.

Moot, I hope I can say this as your friend. Because I am your friend! And I hope what I'm about to say is received that way. I'd expect the same from any one of you if I did something that was out of line so if y'all are holding back and blowing smoke up my rear, please don't!!

And I'm posting this publicly so hopefully others can benefit too? Plus I really don't like being all secretive and clandestine about anything.

I don't think everyone in the Lounge has to love or even like each other. But I don't think what UTR posted deserved that kind of reply. It seemed awfully harsh compared to what she posted - at least in my opinion.

I got a similar message about her nasal activities from UTR in a PM and I laughed! I didn't think she was complaining at all but that, again, is just my opinion.

As I was reminded recently by the helpful moderation staff , as much as we sometimes think of this thread as "ours" and "private", it's public and not private at all. I saw some new names in the thread as I reading and I think that's great! Can't we welcome nearly everyone equally? And if we can't, can't we just put them on ignore instead?

Hell, I'd even welcome OwenKealy, DBC, and some of the more obviously near-trollish users in here! Unless they or anyone else were doing the kinds of things I sometimes see in other threads. But I don't think UTR was guilty of any of that.

Of course all that's just one old man's opinion.

Maybe I missed something in another thread and I'm way off base. I make mistakes! It happens.

We could all be a little more tolerant, understanding, and compassionate towards our fellow Loungers. I didn't see any of that in the reply above. Not that UTR needs anyone to defend her at all - she's a sharp and witty young lady! But I thought I should say something here along those lines - myself included in that audience.

My response to you would be that what I wrote has no bearing on the nasal spray comment. I think you know that.

She came in a thread that I frequent and I chose to tell her what I think on constant whining about bullshit. I gave perfect examples that warrrant being miserable 24/7....but they "bore" her. Of course they do!!! And no I will not be tolerant of that shit in a thread that I frequent.

She has a tendancy to call a perfectly innocent FRIENDLY person a whore and a drunk. This person has done nothing to UTR.
