The best I had was from when the cheese factory in my grandmother's town closed and auctioned off everything. We ended up with this HUGE block of lovely super sharp white cheddar. I swear it was bigger than my head.

I must disappoint you all tonight and post a dinner pic that is not pretty. I apologize but I was so hungry that I didn't wait for the lasagna to sit first and it fell into a gooey pile of cheese, noodle, spinach & mushroom. Tasted great though.

Spinach mushroom lasagna with homemade sauce, fresh oregano and four cheeses.

New England (especially Vermont!) sharp white cheddar makes the best macaroni and cheese. Period.
