What's your opinion of sexual/non-physical infidelity ?

What is your definition of "infidelity"?
If I ask you to rate from 1-10 on three scenarios:
a. Your SO have an "non-physical infidelity" with someone else. eg. texting, or calling with sexual language, or expressing love feelings.

b. Your SO kissed someone else and he/she was not forced to do so.

c. Your SO has a sexual relationship with someone else.

See I use everything not to get pregnant in our 9 yrs together. One night he goes out and meets this sh!t and I guess has a 1 time thing with her and 9 months later a baby is born. Wow. Yeah, I really don't get the cheating thing. Sure, I think about banging other chicks.. but that's like... imaginary whatever land where nothing is real, everyone looks like a super sexy virgin porn star underneath their clothes and there are no repercussions.

I have a fantastic gf, and the thought of ACTUALLY getting w/someone and throwing away everything I currently have, plus everything I can/will have w/her for the same thing I get all the time from her just w/someone else is completely retarded IMO.

Of course.. See I would have understood if I wasn't giving it to him everyday, then yeah I might have understood it. This wasn't the case... Since we worked together, I would be intimate with him at least twice a day (we had a lot of hotels near by..lol) and sometimes 3 times depending on whether we went out to diner and had drinks. I mean he's ok as a friend and he tells me that if he's lucky, he'll get it once a month..Rofl2 Rofl2

Maybe this is where I am weird. There are SO many things that factor into this too - so it's not cut and dry. (ie - time together, children involved, other parties blame...)

I feel like no matter what, a physical infidelity is better to me than an emotional one. I have had many friends and even dated a lot over the years. I can say that there were guys I slept with to fulfill a physical need and had no emotion invested whatsoever, and there were guys I never slept with that I had much emotion invested. Yes, sex is a very intimate thing, but I think it would be easier for me to accept that my partner had slipped up, possibly under the influence of alcohol, and faltered under the pressure of a woman offering sex.

That's why you need to be prudent in the situation, and exercise with good judgment. Sometimes I felt myself desperate at the moment, I really want to have that significant one in my life. But I know I can't just jump into a relationship when some chicks show up in front of my door. My penis doesn't do the "thinking" for me. So I am confident that you could find me on the bed of some sluts but you will never find me in a relationship with some whacked jobs.

It was awhile before her poorer qualities showed to be more than just small imperfections. IMO, you'll NEEEEVER find the PERFECT SO, and I tend to err more on the side of acceptance instead of expectation in someone.
