AMC's The Walking Dead [Spoilers!]

Did you watch?

For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

I recorded it last night and will watch it this week. How was the production/direction and everything? Just from the previews I was impressed.

excellent production in my opinion, but I've come to expect that with amc originals. directed by the director of the shawshank redemption and green mile.

there was a contest to win a walk on zombie role for season 2. it didn't open until the end of last night's episode...i figured i'd just wait until this morning, but now it's closed. doh.

Watched it last night, production quality on that show is fantastic. Great story and awesome show. I can't wait til next week.

Wish they didn't reveal in the first episode that his family was still alive. Also was hoping to get more backstory on the outbreak right away. Overall a very good premiere though.

read the comic a few years ago but gave up waiting for new issues.. caught the pilot online n it didn't disappoint. doubt the show will live up to the comic further into the storyline though since there were a LOT of Rated-R/NC-17 scenes and AMC is no HBO. Angry

what i didnt understand is why the fark in the very beginning the main character is walking around with a gas can looking for fuel. he then stumbles on a zombie girl and blows her head off. then all of the sudden he's shooting at "normal" humans and he gets shot and ends up in a hospital.

what was the beginning all about? was this some kind of flashback?

looks like its going to be a great season. if they have more than 1 season i hope it doesnt get gayed out like true blood. first season of TB was good, the rest, not so much.
