He was born and raised in Louisiana, came out to CO for work in his twenties where he met my mom, then after they got married and had me and my brother, we moved to Kansas, Texas, Arizona, and then back to CO when I was 15, and we've all been her since then. LMAO

But yeah, he still uses a lot of his classic, family Cajun recipes. His rice dressing is AMAZING. I don't care for gizzards, myself. But I certainly do use chicken livers, together with HOT pork breakfast sausage. My dad used plain ground pork he would season, but we have some excellent fresh HOT sausage [neesesausage.com] available in Charlotte.

I mowed the back yard and then ended up cleaning out and re-filling a short stone walkway this afternoon. I made three trips to Home Depot to pick up pea gravel, paver base and marble chips, but it's done. I first put that walk in almost ten years ago, and it had filled up with a lot of soil in that time.
