I can't believe it....first major snow storm this year for the area and it's going to be a blizzard! we only had 1 snowfall earlier in the month and it was only about 2 inches.

a few days ago I checked weather.com and it only said snow showers for sunday & monday and now there is a blizzard warning and expecting 11-16 inches of snow. what a dramatic change.

I love snow so I am excited. (except when I have to drive....lol)

laugh out loudThe heck with the North-East, I am in Sarasota Florida and I just lost a 60 year old Key Lime tree today because of the winds. So no huricane here, but this is sure a hell of a way to end the year. No more key limes for me and a hell of a clean-up!!

I was just outside.....very horrible conditions out, the windy is brutal.

by the way, the poll is deadlocked at 8-8, 8 people love snow and 8 people hate!

I'm very surprised that the vote is tied. i thought more people would hate the snow than love.

Hubby has done round one of the snow blowing - and is back out for round two - and there will be a round three - and a round four - as this storm continues to dump on us - but better to keep ahead of it - then let it continue to pile up on us - we have four properties to snow blow to get to my FIL and get him dug out - so keeping ahead of it is paramount for us. Being just released from the hospital today - means we need to keep those sidewalks open and that driveway down there as well and ours too, as he is still not in the best of health although they released him - which they did so due to this snow storm Frown

Yeah, hubby was snow blowing with the wind to his back - it's a bitch the other way laugh out loud
and definitely a face mask along with another hat on top of that to keep the mask from slipping - and the ski gloves really help keep the hands warm - the snow pants for skiing - yep they go keep ya warm - and when he comes back in - I just pop them in the dryer along with his coat and everything else for the next round Boxing
