I can't believe it....first major snow storm this year for the area and it's going to be a blizzard! we only had 1 snowfall earlier in the month and it was only about 2 inches.

a few days ago I checked weather.com and it only said snow showers for sunday & monday and now there is a blizzard warning and expecting 11-16 inches of snow. what a dramatic change.

I love snow so I am excited. (except when I have to drive....lol)

Dug the car out and it's really fun snow to play in, not so good for snowmen. The plow hasn't come yet, but I guess no ones going anywhere for awhile so it's ok.

Almost 10" on the ground here in Wallingford and its still coming down hard at times and not at all at others.

This is fun and birds are dinosaurs! It was on the news before.

holy smokes...i just realized these 2 maps actually change themselves....LOL wow. call me a loser but i was just telling a friend about the blizzard here and he didn't believe me. i linked him to this thread and i looked at the 2 maps i linked....they change whenever weather.com changes them.....sick.

Is anyone watching the news? There are house fires in Scituate on a road where there is waist high flooding.... one house caught fire, then the flames were blown over to the next house.... the people were saved via rafts, but this is sooooo sad and awful......

Ya I saw coastal mass with that flooding. Part of my yard, I see grass, other parts 3 feet. The wind has been unreal.

Iagree i went skiing here when we got snow. couldnt go anywhere for several days (mostly shopping), but had ample stockpile to feed myself and fast food/restaurants within walking distance. Big Grin

I went skiing here last year when we got several feet, plus its fun to drive around in subaru and wifes santa fe Big Grin
