I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

so the thread has been closed again , because we broke the rules of OT chatter? Have you had complaints or are we just being punished by the thread Nazi? It seems to me that the thread may as well be closed period as the contest is over and even discussing prizes and who got what and how long it takes is really OT for the proposed subject matter and purpose of t his thread to begin with. That being sharing answers and thoughts. No more of those to do,.

Why do some people
1. Insist on frequenting threads where they so obviously despise everyone on the thread?
2. Berate & belittle everyone on these threads?
3. Think they are so much smarter than everyone else, just because they have been on this site for awhile? (There are many smart folks on the OWTW threads that have been on SD for many years. And even more who signed up just to brainstorm & Outwit the West.)
4. Get so much self-satisfaction when they think they have put others in their place, when all they have done is make themselves look like an arrogant a$$?
5. Contribute nothing during the contest, yet presume to tell everyone what to post, when to post & how to post?
6. Think any of us give a darn about what they think?
This contest was fun & stressful at the same time. Many smart, generous people came together for the good of all. We are all getting some great prizes for our efforts. I, for one, am grateful to everyone on the OWTW thread. (well, almost everyone)

What I don't find funny is the fact that on this site, we can't rep people who post great contests for us to enter -- like the OD one where so many of us got $30 gift cards.
And yes, twopros: "They should punish those that cause it to be shut down in the first place, not all of us." Punish the idiots who don't want to read those five pages, not the members of this group who worked so hard to get THEM their prizes, when they contributed nothing to the contest.
