Too much competition. We have Wally World, Target, Kroger, Albertsons, Tom Thumb, and a couple of other smaller chains plus all the Mexican grocery stores.

I prefer Kroger and Tom Thumb.

You wouldn't know a grocery store from a bodega.

I understand that but no store says 'Safeway' around here.

HEB would crush all of those execpt WM and Target. Prices are lowwwwww, they have 1000s of items they only make 1/2 a cent on to keep the prices low.

I there still a Jack and Jill in P-town? Aren't those an IGA chain?

FS if there's a HyVee by your work they have a decent salad bar. I just made a preggo delight salad here. Romaine, carrots, cabbage, gr pepper, cucumbers, grape tomatoes, chopped raw onion, sweet corn (I know right?!) With blue cheese and Dorothy Lynch dressing. yummy the only thing I'd do different at HyVee is grilled chicken and green peas instead of sweet corn. Roll

We have 1/2 a prime rib roast leftover from last night. Come on over!
