Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Looks like the farmhouse I used to live in on a long dirt road in the middle of nowhere. Of course it always reminded me of the house in Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I always had the spooks there. I kept trying to tell everyone that someone was out in the garage across the yard and they thought I was crazy until one day they found cigarette butts from a different brand than they smoked.. We moved out soon. The house is even creepier now
Texas Chainsaw Massacre, great flick. Thing was, you were afraid of the folks who lived in that house. Wink

That explains a lot. Well if Lucchese doesn't find a new cow and get me those boots soon they better send me some jerky.
I called them Dec 8. I was told they rec'd my certificate end of November (I mailed certificate 3rd week of Sept), and boots would probably ship Dec 20. I rec'd them Dec 24.

Changed my coupons and jerky to glasses on Wed and got an E-mail last night they have been shipped already!!! Also my mom called and asked if she could use her extra 50 points on a bonus gift and they gave her the option of an ashtray, mug or lighter.

Way to go Marlboro!

we just got a beagle three years ago, rescue dog, but he's great. we get a kick from him whenever he chases a rabbit in our yard. his hunting bark is soo cool. we just let him chase the rabbit around the pool and listen to him howl. sorry we never got a beagle before. this is our fifth dog, we always have one or two. love our beagle,Big Grin
Wow. Just today my beagle, Rocky, chased a baby rabbit through the yard. It tried to escape through a chain link fence and got stuck!

We had to cut the link in the fence so that he could get free.

There had been some issues with big sizes I was told....13 and 13W ...sent my certs in registered mail to get receipt and since they were originals ( and only originals would be accepted ) and was told initially that we would be shipping on the 15 of Dec and the 26th of dec for the other pair, Then when I called on the 20th they said that the overwhelming response and that they were hand made ....it would be a bout a 3 week delay......no word yet, one more week to go I guess..

My Brother got his horns from the last promotion and they were put together backwards. That longhorn would have to run backwards to gourd his enemy. LOL
Omg
He called Marlboro and they are shipping him new ones in 12 to 16 weeks.

A string is just a string of characters, letters, numbers, whatever. I'm not sure what they're discussing, but it's not the same thing. I'm talking about the browser user agent string, which is the string of characters your browser sends to a website to identify itself. For example the user agent string from my browser is:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0b9pre) Gecko/20101230 Firefox/4.0b9pre Firefox-4.0/4.0b9pre
Thanks for that string information ! ! !

I just signed you up for the Secret Santa group, the catnip toy of the month club and the learn to knit potholders discussion group.

That was fun. You can thank me later. Or not. As the case may be. bounce

ever try opera for the browser, I like it better than others, but some site still wont work on it. so I use firefox for those. but you could try it.

look around
Perhaps surprisingly perhaps not, but IBM uses internally the Opera browser for a number of their recovery programs. ( www.opera.com )

I do find that some web pages do not load properly, if they are using some of the flash calls that are out-dated and the web master has not up graded his /her code.

It is much quicker than IE. I also maintain the speed ny using "Advanced System Care" free version, from www.iobit.com

Graceland is sweet. I worked a job that put me in Memphis for 6 months (great city, and some of the best strip clubs in the US, at least at the time). and a bunch of us did the tour of Graceland. The jungle room was definitely my favorite. And I liked the TV room with the TV's Elvis used to shoot out. And the private jets were da bomb (were they jets or was one a prop plane? I just remember all the gold).
I always thought it would be cool to have a TV Remote Control designed like a gun so you could shoot things off the TV!

FYI the link to https://www.marlboro.com/m_secure/gifts/ no longer works on Google Chrome. It did a while ago, but now says that it is only for Android or I phone.
