I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

-viewed dozens of bike assembly videos on YouTube
-bought the wrenches and allen keys I think I'll need
-bought a helmet, hydration backpack, air pump, lubricants, bike stand to hold it upright in the living room (only place I can store it)
-called an area bike shop for a quote on assembly and tuning (in case I botch it) - only $40
I just hope that after all of this, after ten minutes of huffing and puffing on the bike, I don't end up wishing that I had called Marlboro to switch to the netbook pc.
