Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

That stinks that you can't participate in a lot of these contests!
Has anyone else noticed that in a lot of contest's Official Rules, it states that if the winner is a Canadian resident they have to pass a skills test to claim their prize?
What's up with that?
I remember reading an article a while ago that said it had to do with fairly archaic gambling laws -- so contest winners in Canada usually have to answer a few arithmetic questions or something to be eligible to win.

We've got laws like that in the states too -- when I used to live in NC two years ago, I remember that there were technically no public bars. A bar had to either serve food or be a private membership club, so depending on the place and enforcement, you had to get a membership card after your first visit, always sign in as a guest, or ring a doorbell to get in.

I'm not eligible to participate in that contest - probably because I'm not of the contiguous 48 states. Just really don't like that when that happens, and it does so quite often. We and Hawaii have it rough!! We are the UPPER ONE!!
Here's one open to residents of ALL 50 states:

Sorry, I didn't check the rules for eligible states!!
Yes, thank you - tried the honeynut, herbal, but not the third one (will try though). Also did the lap top although one of the 3 wouldn't let me in - try after try finally gave up. Just wondering now how many junk emails I'm going to get!?

That's pretty funny! But, it would make one feel like a VIP having a membership card & signing in as a guest....like being a member of a private country club or something.

Hey, thanks for that - just tried. Don't think we even have a Red Barron up here, but great to be able to play!! Our take and bake is Papa Murphy's - pretty good pizza.

Sure wish we had a Red Lobster and Olive Garden up here. The ads air up here all the time even tho we don't have 'em. When we go 'Outside' we try to go to places like that - food looks so yummy!

Red Barron is a frozen pizza that you get at a grocery store.

We have Papa Murphy's take-n-bake here too....my girls really like it (but then again, they like ALL pizza).

Olive Garden IS very yummy! If you're not hungry when you walk in, as soon as you get a whiff of the aromas you are.

did everyone get their key chain from marlboro mobile?

We went through how to get it from a pc the other day
but it's easy from an iphone or ipod touch

I did, and all members of my team and a few friends besides, we all wish to thank the person who gave us the directions to do so.

so thank you thank you so much.
