That is what I ask,Why not on the 4th? They say the media is down playing it.
If there is a problem with the eccosystem the first to go is the fish that eat the bugs and the birds. There was a mass die off of fish a couple of months ago. The bugs are the first to feel it but they reproduce so rapidly and addapt much better. wonder if the bird kill is along the Mississippi River?? could be from the oil spill or worse the chemical they put on the oil spill is more toxic than the oil!

Lived on School of the Ozarks campus right down the hill from the airport when I was a kid. Worked in Branson every Summer. Loved Florida but Missed the mountains. Loved the Ozarks but missed the beach. Seattle was a nice compromise but came home to be with family. Never in a million years did I know I would live next door to my mother!! Big Grin

OMG! I didn't know you were in Springfield, MO......I have a bunch of relatives there. Both my mom & dad grew up there. While my sisters & I were growing up, we spent time in Springfield every summer & Christmas. Small world! bounce

Yeah, Every time I leave to find adventure I keep getting sucked back here!!! Always wanted to check out the Norhteast around ME, NY (Steven King Country!) and The desert southwest and into California. I would love to photograph every National park in the US and make a picture book out of it with text describing my adventures at each place. Maybe some day I'll get around to it
