So they are predicting 4-8 inches of snow starting tomorrow night and everyone thinks its going to kill us all. The grocery stores are EMPTY. No bread, no buns, no milk, nothing.

Charlotte schools are open tomorrow, but on a two-hour delay. Apparently, they're expecting the buses to have problems getting started and getting around the still-iced-in neighborhoods.

I can only imagine! I wish ours were open. There is only so often the kids can go outside before they will come in with frost burnt toes eventually:/

lol thats what hubby and i were just talking about when he called a little bit ago. Even if they go friday, they will have the 3 day weekend as well! At least the younger one has karate or we'd be in the house 24/7.

My sister from up in northeast and went to SC, she said that they aren't handling snow very well in SC. LMAO She said she went to the city and she saw their "plow truck" was the size of a golf cart laugh out loud. They had about 4 inches of snow and canceled school for 3 days. LMAO

Imagine having the 12 inches we did up here. Wacko

That is a huge exaggeration... the size of a golf cart? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

And snow did not shut down the cities, the ice did. We got snow and then about 1-2 inches of ice on top of the snow. Then it would melt in the day, then it would be 15 degrees at night and freeze the running water, just a cycle that kept going all week.
