The world is ending in SC (and the rest of the South, too)

So they are predicting 4-8 inches of snow starting tomorrow night and everyone thinks its going to kill us all. The grocery stores are EMPTY. No bread, no buns, no milk, nothing.
Whee run for your lives!

And snow did not shut down the cities, the ice did. We got snow and then about 1-2 inches of ice on top of the snow. Then it would melt in the day, then it would be 15 degrees at night and freeze the running water, just a cycle that kept going all week.
Dontknow She said this was the only plow she saw...though she did say it might've been an isolated case but she said they weren't prepared for the storm. I never been to SC and don't know if they ever get snow, but we always see it here so we are used to it but she said the way everyone reacted was strange. She said all stores were closed also, nothing was open for a few days. Which is why people over here always tends to clear out the milk and bread because they are scared people won't open the following day...but they always do.

our 'snow plows' are just city dump trucks with plows thrown on the front. We still have ice really bad on our street and surrounding streets. It's not going to go away until tomorrow we are hoping. Still no school, hopefully by tuesday.
