Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

havent been on in a bit..anybody recieve the "mystery gift" from marlboro?

or netbook?
One person that I know of received the bonus gift...a dome ashtray. Here's a link to their post about it, including a picture:

Also, from what I've read on here, only a couple of people have received their netbooks, and they both ordered them before the contest was over.
Everyone else, who had to wait until they had enough points on 12/16, are being told the netbooks are on back order, and to give them the full 12-16 weeks.

About once a year we get snow in the Dallas area and it's a free-for-all. Local news was interviewing some guy today who said "I'm from Pittsburg and we know how to handle this" and the anchor shot back "This is Dallas and we don't."

I got about 4 inches of snow and some ice and each time it does this it weights down my huge live oak tree in the front yard and I pray I don't lose a limb.

Beautiful pics! The snow is pretty, but can be very dangerous...for trees as well as driving. Hope your live oak is ok!
We had a weird, wet snow last May, and my silver maple lost a pretty big limb. Frown Once I was quit crying about it, took the rest of the day to get it cut up & drag it to the back yard.
My neighbor came over a few days later with his chainsaw & made firewood out of it...recycle, reuse, reduce. Only bright side to the situation.

You have a fireplace, heres a contest for a free fireplace insert or a stove. worth up to $3.500. I used to have an insert and I loved it. It would blow the heat out into the room

Thanks! Entered for a wood-burning insert. I'd love to have one of those things....just don't want to have to pay for one. Smilie

My husband hooked the blower into the heat vents and it blew the heat all through the house. He was good for some things

bounce So, he was good for more than just fathering your son? That's good.
My ex....not so much! He doesn't get more than sperm-donor credit.
