Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !
So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

FYI, if you really like that keyboard, and have a 2nd keyboard for temp use, soak the dirty one in deionized water for a few hours, then let it dry for a week or so.
Otherwise, you can try popping off the caps on hte spill area, wiping with a damp cloth, drying with a hair dryer, and putting the keys back on.

Then again, if you can find the service manual, and have the tools, just pull the keyboard out and wash it out (easier than you might think, I've disassembled quite a few laptops, some make it really easy to remove the keyboard for just your reason (spills), while others make it ridiculously hard).
You need deionized or distilled water so you don't leave any minerals behind to cause conductance issues later - DO NOT use tap water!
(though they do make you wait sometimes until the cow come home)
