It makes me so sad to here about all of the loss of little ones.. babies, or teenagers.. your baby will always be your baby no matter how old.. We want to protect them forever
Been working all day.. still here, but did manage to run out on my lunch break to Kohls and do 2 transactions.. My toddler needs socks badly, so I found some cute ones on sale.. The rest of us are totally set with socks for years to come
I wonder if bought, then returned, you could just ask CS about the price and just say something like 'yeah, another store has it 75% and I think this has been here awhile, you can check for me?'

Oh, the most horrible thing happened this morning to one of DDs new friends! DD had her in a few classes and had mentioned her to me a few times but they had not gotten a chance to hang out after school yet but had been trying to set it up. So DDs friend was walking to school and waiting to cross the street when she was hit by a car. Driving the car was another 13 yr old girl who had missed the bus and taken her Aunts car without the Aunts knowledge. The 13 yr old driver was going around the corner mistook the gas for the brake went out of controll drove right into the girl and crushed the girl into a cinderblock retaining wall. My DDs friend held on for a few hours but passed away around lunchtime. The whole school is wearing pink tomorrow, DDs friends favorite color. And this is why I worry so much constantly! DD loves to walk to school and home from school and I worry the whole time even though it is only a 15 min walk. The 13 yr driver is being charged through the juvi courts with involuntary vehicular manslaughter. So devastatingly sad for all the families. I can't even imagine how it would be to kiss DD bye for school and then never see her smiling face again. It fills me with so much anxiety and fear I feel like I am going to have a panic attack and I can't breath! I know I worry to much sometimes, but it is hard to not worry about everything.
Today is my 16 yr annivesary, DH is working out of town so we had celebrated last weekend but I still feel so lonely for him today. And this evening.
Good thing we are out of almost everything yummy, except M&Ms we have lots of those. sigh....
My DH is not friends with her on FB but she messaged him.. errrrrrrrrrr just the thought of it peels me... let me the past be the past you know... gonna see how to block her messages on there.

THIS is NOT good , has he told you about this communication ? Read your follow up and the problem here is you are gentle natured- but she's not, she will run over you like a steam roller..
And your also right she is at the least trouble-making ,manipulative drama seeking.
He might refer to her current love interest and and tell her he's sorry she 's become disenchanted there , HOWEVER he is very happy with his realtionship with you.
Your husband needs to put a stop to this , he needs to let her know he has made you aware of the communication and , that HE finds this one sided contact with him inapproriate and disrespectful to the life you two have together.
Whatever words he has that will put an end to this out of his love and respect for you and your marriage.

:Had a horrible experience at the Picture People today. I HATE that place and we never go, but I saw a coupon for 6 sheets of any sized prints for $9. So my sister and I took the kids to get a picture of all the grandkids for my parents for Christmas. Ended up with a decent, but not great print. They had a survey on the bottom of their receipt so I'll be filling that out now.
Anyways I agree that biotch has to go... she is not his friend but I want the messaging to stop as she can go attempt to wreck someone elses house..craziness!!

That is just awful. I feel so sad for your DD, her friends family and the 13yr old driver as well. I wish I could think of more to say but it is just too overwhelming.
The day before there was a 14 year old girl in the town where L2B lives that got hit by a car while trying to get away from a dog that scared her, she did not make it.
All these stories make me sooooo grateful for my messy, sometimes irritating, non-stop eating, HEALTHY children. Thank you God.
God Bless any parent that has to go through the loss of a child.

The renter we had has never been found and he was 30. I just sent a batch of his mail to his mom and she emailed to thank me and say that now that a year since he went missing is coming up nothing has got easier and they still worry, pray, and search for him everyday. Every lead has still ended up cold. It is like he drove to Henderson and then vanished into thin air, well I guess that IS what happened. DH thinks he may have been kidnapped for organs, he was very healthy and never drank or smoked in his life. Had no kids or wife, living away from family, looking all over for work. DH thinks it would have been easy to 'interview' him and find he was a match and then drug him or something.
So right now we are all tucked in at home, safe, happy, and healthy and I am very gratefull.
