Dog is much better - actually putting weight on the leg today. I did find the suggestion for the aspirin online somewhere, so she's had 2 of them today and seems even more perky/comfy. Almost too much!
English lessons started Monday.

Oldest DD had a dental appt. today and the dentist wants her to see a specialist for her jaw. TMJ maybe or something else. Ugh. I can't wait to find out what *that* will cost. *sigh* Our dental insurance covers the cleanings, but is pretty cruddy on everything else.
I discovered that I actually kind of like Pepsi Maxx - which is not good because I got into a bad soda habit with this last pregnancy and have been trying to quit. They need to quit giving it away...

the sinex deal is totally worth doing. it was on last month for a bit. i did it 8 times on last day of the deal
taught a friend to wag. he uses his MM RRs soon after he gets em so no worries of rolling and expiration etc. so he just looks out for MM weeks, then schedules TP, bodywash, etc purchases for those weeks. the MMs pay for the household goods.
wags has been very good to us/for us. it's the perfect store to help stock up on household necessities.

Hope all of you that are sick, start feeling better soon and the kiddos too. I've been sick for a few days, but my granddaughter is really sick with her yearly bout of Bronchitis - off 2 days from school, but then she's bored at home, thinking of sending her tomorrow, as most of her coughing is at night!
So I broke down and upgraded my cell phone and got an IPhone.. oh my, I'm trying to figure it out, and even my granddaughter knows way more than me.. she was getting frustrated with me.. lol.
Any MUST HAVE APPS.. still trying to figure out how to get them on the phone.. I did get FB on it.
Also broke down and bought a dishwasher (well my mom did, it's my bday and christmas present) first one I've ever had.. after 50 yrs.. Yeah!!

My district didn't have much of an exciting evening, pretty much a shoo-in for the incumbent. Next district over, though, they still haven't called it. And the one guy already gave his victory speech!!!
OK, off to mail coupons to my mom. Pamida is tripling coupons up to $1 face value, which means lots of free stuff. Their Pamida is mainly a glorified drug store, so she can't use much, but free toothpaste, free toothbrushes, shampoo, etc. I'll get her hooked up!! I'm really excited for her, probably more so than she is. I grew up watching her work the coupon deals, but where they live now (Upper Peninsula of Michigan), none of the stores double at all, and their coupon inserts are nonexistent. So she basically gave up on coupons because it wasn't worth the hassle for the teeny-tiny savings. But every once in a while, Pamida runs one of these promotions, and thankfully, this time I have enough warning to send her an envelope of goodies!!
Anyone know where the McCormick $1/1 tearpad is being found? I haven't seen it at any stores I frequent, just wondering if its been found in this area or if I should try to trade/buy/steal.

I just gotta say that I do NOT need an ounce of coffee this AM to add to this election-time-energy. I was down 1 pound this morning and I attribute it to my pacing the living room last night waiting for results
Flug - have you tried Gas-X maybe?? That stuff works wonders for me when I have the tummyache kind of gas. Sometimes I will get this feeling like my whole stomach/intestinal tract is filled with air and it is painful....take some of that and gone within 30 minutes. Target has a $3 q out. Some of the chewable varieties were around $4ish I think.
BTW (for those who don't know) safeway modified their Q policy a while back and they explicitly state that they take MQ catalinas with other store logos on them (as long as they are MQs). I was sure I was going to be hassled b/c my safeways are horrid with Qs, but no problems so far. So I try to get in on the great MM deals at wags b/c it = free groceries for us!

The RR is rolling, so if you buy something else to use up the overage, you can keep your OOP pretty low. There are several different scenarios people are using to do this. Also, I think the same deal is going on again next week or maybe the following week, so some people are waiting so they'll have some RRs going into BF.
Meeshe - was it you that was talking about your children learning English? If it was, or the person who mentioned it is still peeking in here, were there songs or games that were particularly helpful to them? Is there a good way to get the kids to really interact and talk to each other? They play kind of next to each other, and my toddler is extremely talkative, so I don't know if it's a bit of a shyness thing or what. She seems to understand a lot of English - it's just hard to get her to talk it much. Maybe more encouragement? Trying to figure out how to motivate her best, I guess...
