Found some of the 3/3 Glade coupons...now if I want to even try the gc dealio or not. It might be a pain if I have to have my subtotal be more than $10 ugghh. It seems complicated this year so I don't even know if I want to bother.

Aww, fired up the keurig to make some hot chocolate for my DD and now I want coffee Frown Must resist.. I don't have decaf and don't need any more calories from creamer tonight. I do have 4 boxes of kcups on the way though. I am super excited to try the new flavors.. I ordered creme brulee, chocolate glazed donut, decaf vanilla, and a variety box drool

My DH and the boys went to gamestop for the midnight launch of the new call of duty video game.. Me and the girls stayed home.. The toddler is sleeping and my older DD is studying in her room.. so, it is just me here alone watching netflixbounce

Been clipping and filing coupons.. determined to make it to kroger, publix, and target tomorrow!

Are there any new TQ this week? I hadn't looked in depth but don't remember seeing anything mentioned.

And, any ideas on how to get monkey toddler to keep the bandage on his fingers? He has an appointment with the ped tomorrow afternoon, the fingers are blistered pretty well. He's gone through 5 bandages in about 4 hours because he says it doesn't burn any more so he doesn't want it on. I'm about at the point where I'll duct tape on. lol

kallison, I'll see if I have any Mentos mq left. It will be tomorrow afternoon before I have a chance to do so.

tell him it will make the hand stronger for train driving, but in order to do that he has to leave the bandage on because the magic powers need to build up. if you remove the bandage, the magic powers blow away in the wind so you can't keep taking them off. think the monkey will buy that?

Good idea!

I admit I'm afraid of him popping those blisters while pushing trains around. I bribed him, I mean offered positive reinforcement, in the way of an ice cream cone. Once he finished the cone, he settled back and is watching Frosty the snowman. When it's over, he and I will go to bed. That will get us through to tomorrow morning, and I'll face the next battle then.

The first aid tape I bought at CVS isn't worth a darn. It doesn't stay on at all so it isn't helping any.

correct. you have to tell him while the hand is growing stronger/getting magical powers, he can't drive the train with that hand. cos that will make the magic stop. Embarrassment

first aid tape... ask the pediatrician for some tape and gauze. they will give it to you. they always have lots. you need hospital strength. not the flimsy temp kind. and see if he has some colored tape. or if you can color onto the tape/monkey can drawn something on the tape before putting on. that might play into magic theory and also get him to keep it on longer.

bulb maybe you can get DH to put a bandage on one hand as a matching thing. something he can slide off when monkey's not looking. that might also help.

I bought the only rolled gauze I found, to wrap around his entire hand as they did at the urgent care clinic, and I definitely need that stretchy stuff that was used by the clinic. I'm actually a little peeved that the clinic didn't offer any supplies for the first bandage change, in case I wouldn't have a chance to get to a store to buy some. Monkey DID try to wash the bandage and thick layer of cream off his hand last night so at midnight I was at CVS, buying the gauze, tape and non-stick first aid pads.

hug guess I skipped something and missed the story of what happened, but I hope your baby is feeling better.. And yeah, we used to send atleast a spare bandage incase you needed it on the way home.


Well, it has taken all night, but I have finally gotten all of my inserts filed. I had inserts back to September that were just cluttering up everywhere.. Just sorted and filed several months worth and cleaned out inserts dated back in April Bigeye

I am worn out and finally headed to bed.. Good night!

You would be surprised, if you get 2 straps to put under the big things and hold the straps wrapped around your arms then lift with you legs it is real simple to lift super heay things.

We used Penske to move from the Poconos Mountains to here - Raleigh NC after we (me preggers w/ #4, dh, fil and mil) were fired from our jobs that provided us housing. It was a farked up thing!
