Yep, their fix is to have all coupons scanned at face value, regardless of overage. An interesting tidbit in one of the many articles posted about this whole fiasco quoted someone as saying anything less than face value would cause Target to be investigated by the whoop-de-dos for defrauding customers (or something like that, in much more elegant legal speak). And from the links posted today, it would seem this is the permanent fix.

Oh, and gt, has there been an ad posted for Pamida for this weekend? I'm working on getting coupons together to send my mom, and would like to send her the most effective. She was able to do fairly well - spent around $30 but she was getting anything that was a good deal for her. Where she lives, none of the stores double coupons, and they dont' get regular coupon inserts. All of the "chain stores" are local to the region, so there's not much competition, ie., prices are high. So anyway, she was very happy with her deals, and looking forward to the next one.

I may have created a monster! Or reawakened one, I guess. She was the coupon goddess when I was growing up. She fed our family of 11 kids on just $200/every two weeks.

Yes so, Buy it Wednesday - use the MFQ, pay go to GS and do a missed TQ then you should get the whole PA. I am thinking of doing it for the game system remotes for $39 - $10/2 TQ & the Nerf Longshot $19 - $5TQ also.

How could I forget TGIF?? It sucks, though, because my printer is out of black ink and the two Targets I went to last night didn't have the kind I needed! So my freezer has no TGIF and I have no ink, and thus no coupons! Must rectify.

OK, all Thomas lovers - my friend just told me that Kohls has the Fisher Price Thomas toys 45% off!!! This includes the individual trains.

Now for those who are Kohls shoppers - what line of Thomas do they carry? Is it the Trackmaster or the Take and Play? I definitely need to get me some Thomas for Christmas. I have a son and 2 nephews who would be very very happy.

They definitely have the take and play sets. Kohl's also has their 15-20-30% off codes going on now, and $10 Kohl's cash wys $50.

The ad is up and it confirms doubles. I just finished updating the spreadsheet. It's linked in the wiki. I saw some Malt-O-Meal tearpads at a gas station and that is on sale. It was the same place I found the candy tear pads -- so you know which one that is.

She could do some extra searching for printables. I did not go nuts searching and linking those. She might want to hold off printing the spreadsheet til it gets closer -- I will up date it as new info comes to light.

Awesome. I have a nice little stack of coupons together, so I'll see what else I'm missing. I had put her address for one of the P&G coupon booklet rebates, and she was so excited to be able to use some of those coupons there.

The only thing is that sometimes they do not have these items on the floor, they only get them in for BF. I wanted something last year and it was an item they only brought in for BF. I still got it, but it was close.

I've got 4 hours of shopping time by myself on BF. I think I'm going to go hit up 2 Targets and get my toys, and giftcards, then I'm going to go shopping later. Not much else I want, but I will take advantage of such a horribly busy day!

If it is something you really want and don't want to miss out on buy it b4 Friday, then when you go on friday buy it again (hopefully, if still in stock) then get your GC and go to GS with the other receipt and return.

I need to get a new DS, but haven't decided between the DSi or the DSiXL. I know the XL is just a bigger screen right?

There is NO deals that I can find, unless Wal-Mart is offering one, and I do NOT feel like going to WM on BF!

I was contemplating the PSP deal, but I know nothing about this gaming system. How much are the games normally? Is it kid friendly? Anything I should know about it?

We have a zillion DS games already and DD wants a bunch of new ones, so I'm trying to figure out the best. She needs a new DS system though, her's is over the hill old
