Doh I read the part about the LCD as "LSD" and you seemed so nonchalant about prior drug use Roll maybe I need to hit the customer courtesy refreshment desk for coffee.....

But on the subject of 'LCD' I have the B60 and use mine a lot! I set the timer so the keurig is ready to brew when I get downstairs.

LMAO on the LSD !

Yeah, I used to set my old coffee pot to brew 10 minutes before I got up on work mornings or church days..
That is one of the things I heart about the Keurig.. I turn in on, and by the time I find my coffee mug and get the creamer out, it is warmed up and ready to drip in my cup..
SO glad DH bought me mine for my birthday.. even though he didn't wait for a SD on itshake head

By the way, I tried one of my new coffees today.. Love the creme brulee.. very yummy and not to strong!

Hi L2B ---- may I ask if it is easy to clean? Does it take up much counter space? I am thinking of getting one .... but are those coffee cups really expensive to buy? Or can y'all find deals on them.

I gave a friend of mine a birthday gift basket of lotions, candles, nail polish, cute socks- basically all the pampering stuff I got free. And her reaction? Thanks for the free stuff, but what did you get me for my birthday?

I hate that people fail to realize that even if I got it "free", I bought papers (I need to find a way to get more of them in FL- anyone know how?), clipped coupons, found deals, drove to the store, had to deal with the idiots at T...that's work!

If you have a Kohls nearby and have the $5 Qs plus a % off, you can get a good deal. I have a 15% I got in the mail, so sale price of $9.99-$5-15%=$3.50/box.

I hate people like that! My BFF tells me all the time she loves stuff like that. So I try to make her little gift baskets as often as I can. My SIL Requested that for Christmas this year I give her HBAs.

Don't talk about your couponing freebies. It devalues fabulous gifts. I think that would be the first thing I would tell someone that is going new to extreme couponing. Just keep your mouth shut. People do not need to know.

Yay for no more headaches!! I don't get full-blown migraines, but sometimes, my monthly cycle will trigger a horrid headache that lasts at least 24 hours, and it usually comes a day or two before my little friend visits. Not fun.

Yeah, this week. I managed to throw together a couple good scenarios despite none of my stores having the Nivea mens body wash. When they do have it in stock, its only 2-3 bottles anyway. But anyway, I did manage to get some good deals and roll my Ups, which was my main thing. I had about 30 Ups that expire tomorrow. shake head I don't think I shopped at RA at all last week, and then just today for this week's ad.

Had a fantastic run at T today. The Olay mfq beeped on the 5th q, even though I had 5 in my order. Weird. Other than that, all my coupons went through as expected. Lots of markdowns in kids/baby clothing. I am determined to find a couple pairs of jeans for my almost-4yo daughter, but I'm not having much luck. Finding them in every size BUT hers. shake head

Last week when I went to WalMart I was looking at cameras. I want a new point and shoot with a good zoom -- minimum 10x. I was looking at a couple Canons that I am sort of considering. I couldn't get either of them to turn on so I asked the girl if I was doing something wrong.

So told no, that some just didn't have a cable connected. They were all in the bracket thingys and had the red light lit up -- how the hell was I supposed to know they didn't all work? Mind you -- my primary concern is the ZOOM. She hands me a camera and says, "here, you can try this one. It's like the one you are looking at but the other one has more zoom".

Umm, yeah, dumb ass, that's why I want to see THAT one. The one with the 14 X optical zoom. I said, "that's ok, I am interested in the bigger zoom". She still continued to try to get me to look through the other one, insisting that one will be a little more and trying to show me how the damn menu works -- because the menus are almost the same on both of them. Yeah, they all take pictures too.

I agree with this. Also, I would like to add if someone complains about getting a gift of stuff you got for free, that person would be crossed off my Christmas list. Besides being just plain rude, that person obviously does not value your time and thought and effort. For me, I have, for the last several years, compiled huge goodie bags for my various sisters and sisters-in-law (10 in total) and they love them. Every single one of them knows how I got them, but it doesn't matter to them. I put a lot of thought into what goes into each girl's bag, whether its what pattern of the free black socks we got or what flavor of free Olay body wash to give. A couple of my sisters have tried the couponing thing and found it takes a lot of work, especially to do it to the extent that I do, so maybe that has helped them understand and appreciate the value of whatever I give them.

Regardless, a gift is just that - given out of love, whether or not its deserved, and it should be received in that spirit. If it isn't, then I would seriously reconsider that person and their position on my Christmas list. Money is too short, time is too short, to waste on those who don't appreciate it.

And that is my .02 worth. Big Grin
