Rainy here. Rained most of the night.
I'm now glad that I did a few wags runs after work last night, when it wasn't raining. I think it's funny that local groceries don't think that wags is a competitor, as I've bought several food items in the last 3 days that would have normally been bought at the grocery store. It's $$ that's not going to the local grocer (and I had RRs to burn/roll anyway).
I may need some pointers from you HD when I finally decide to head back to target. I haven't been since they wouldn't sell me the Bunn display coffee maker reduced, over 6 weeks ago I think.
Has anyone ever found the Waverly Collection paper plates/cups? I have some decent Qs, but haven't found them.
Man, I hope not, especially after today. I was somewhere around $377 and by the time I was done, I wrote the check for $44. The cashier was enjoying watching it go down, another cashier was lurking around giggling and watching and a lady behind me refused to go check out somewhere else cuz she wanted to see how low it would go. I felt a little bit like a circus side show.
The most of any one TQ I had was 6 Prevacid, 5 Bakery, 4 Produce, 4 Women's PJs, 3 TGIFs, and misc others. I had a whole lotta MQ.
Good Lord people, I think I can give the whole state an Olay bath and still have some left.

You are a smartass booby twatwaffle. The Geezer managed. Apparently 5 is my magic TGIF number. I found 5 at Target so I did the deal with 6. $2 for 6 is ok with me. Free is better, but $2 is doable. Then, I found 10 more between two other grocery stores that I have stashed back for my next trip.

i need to be more productive in real life so i can go to macys one day sale that's for 2 days (dh still can't wrap his head around it even though i've explained it to him for yrs. really, what is so difficult?) tomorrow, go to target and go to the supermarket this wk. if i'm not productive, i don't let myself go out.
and i've been working on the deals wiki since the wiki team seems to have vanished so less time to chat. i need to put some boots in the wiki and need to think of something clever to say that they won't see

What is the difference between Target visa GC and Amex cards...I think the Amex cards have higher activation fees? I need to convert some of my giftcards into Visa or Amex...
If they have the Visa gift card in stock, I would get that one. Store here only had the $25 Visa card so I bought the Amex instead. Couldn't get it to work at any store except Target. The balance showed that it was activated correctly but for some reason the card was being declined at the few other stores dh tried it at. Best Buy, Lowe's.
News about Dh's grandmother is not good. Here's what I just sent him after hearing from my MIL:
Mom called and said that grandma's numbers are down. She'll be going in for a port/catheter to the heart for dialysis. They are expecting it to be put in Weds or Thurs. - but if she's not stable, it'll have to wait until fri or sat. Mom said she asked the doc if grandma will survive it and the doc said if it is God's will and if grandma has a strong will to live, then she'll make it. Mom is a basket case and Aunt Paula isn't any better from the sounds of it. I think they are worried because Grandma has been saying she just wants to go and be with Grandpa.
Fast forward to this morning. The guy who brings the newspapers came in and said he went to the convenience store to do his drop there and a cop stopped him and took the papers. Her boss came in at 7. I can't remember if it was him or the newspaper guy that told her that Kum and Go was closed last night -- which was weird. She left work, still cops there, a tent up, and some kind of cop/investigating van.
She told me all this when she came in shortly after 7 this morning. I hadn't gotten up or turned on a tv or looked online yet when my husband called. Some guy (17 and from Minnesota is the rumor) came down and robbed our little convenience store -- then killed the clerk. Then he went on another little (about 30-40 minutes due south on the highway) and robbed the Kum and Go there and shot and killed that clerk. A suspect was captured in a third at about midnight is in custody.
I don't know what time he robbed the local store -- but it's only 64 miles from here to where he was captured. Somehow I doubt he was obeying the speed limit; and, I don't know this for sure, but I don't think it takes long to rob a store and kill a clerk. My daughter goes to work at precisely 10:40. That bastard was way too close to my baby. I hate evil people. (I mostly just dislike the rest)
** for those of you who don't have them -- yes, Kum and Go really truly is the name of a convenience store chain. And every time I hear/say the name it reminds me of my former brother-in-law (deceased) and I crack up. He referred to it as Ejaculate and Evacuate.
