just picked up a tub of icecream and it is soft. the ice cream inside is soft, melty but not fully liquid. kind of like softserve.
that's not right is it? yes it's towards the front of the freezer, but it's a freezer. shouldn't the ice cream stay frozen?

At my Target..they've started this new thingy...they scan one product and then scan the coupon. If you say you have no coupons and then whip them out at the end...the take everything out of the bags and put a coupon on each product. Ack..blah..
I would go twice a day and forget I had coupons until they had rang everything up. Give them a workout.

Just heard from the mechanic about dh's car... ugh. all 4 brakes + distributor/wires/etc... $425. And I know that's cheap!!!

That's just not acceptable. I would call corp on that one. That is wasting the time of the customer, and supposedly Target is against that.
Had one bug run today and one windshield run. The bug run, I had to abandon the cart, which I hated to do because I had a pair of jeans for my dd in there that has taken me FOREVER to find. But the cashier was seriously reading the wording on every single coupon, even if she had scanned three identical coupons in a row. And she kept arguing about purchase vs transaction. I pointed out the wording on the P&G coupons about 4 per trip, and she thought it was "neat" that they put that on there, but it didn't persuade her towards my way of thinking. Nope, not one whit. Anyway, she started refusing my Glade Qs, saying I couldn't combine those coupons, despite only having scanned ONE and I had at least 10 Glade items in my cart. When I asked her to void the entire order, she starts telling me that Target had just been having problems "on a national scale" with coupons and so they have to be really careful. I was like, "Um, yeah, Target's in a lot of trouble right now, with lawsuits, etc.". She insisted it was the manufacturer's fault, not Target's, that they were in trouble. Um, ok.
I agree about the scams. I feel the same way, now, but long ago I always believed them. Then I saw a news story when we lived in WA State. A TV crew followed one of the guys standing on a corner begging for money. Long story short, it was a scam.
Recently, I was going into Giant and saw a lady frantically searching in her purse. When
I got out of the car, she got out, said she couldn't find her debit card and asked me if she could have $5 to buy milk. Being a good Target person, I gave her a $5 gift card and told her that milk was on sale at T 2/$5, which was conveniently just behind this grocery store. Don't know if it was true but even if it wasn't, not much she could do except use that at Target.

Got started on the outside decorations. Most of the small stuff is assembled. Still need the ferris wheel and merry-go-round down. I would like to have those before I stake every in place. Then I have to drag out the drop cords and power strips and more drop cords and timers and more power cords and, well you get the idea. There won't be any icicle lights all around the house this year. We don't have any gutters to clip them to. We ripped them down to do the new fascia and soffit.
