No beeps here for the Oral B Toothbrushes.

Thanks! I picked up one of the 12.99 rechargeable ones yesterday but put it back cause I thought the barcode started with a 0 and would beep.. Guess I will grab a few on my next trip

My DH made it home with the TGIF.. But, he couldn't stand the thought of his total being so low, so he added a coke.. Paid 1.49 for one 20 oz coke I told him he could have atleast gotten a 12 pack for 3.00.

anyone feel like eating 3 quarts, and 2 pints of soft serve and a couple of pints of soft sorbet with me? it might just make the mean ones here sweeter...
or we could have a pea fight tossing bags of frozen peas at each other? how about a skating party with bags of frozen shredded cheese? no takers? yeah... so much for having things stocked.

what makes you think it is kidney related? where upper right side? and what kind of pain?

green - sorry about the freezer. I just picked up a great deal on one this weekend on CL. SO far, so good.. and it is so roomy.. I can't get over how much I have put in there already.

My DH was out tonight at church and I asked him to stop by target and check the TGI meals. I expected it to be empty and I am sure he was hoping it was so he wouldn't have to use a coupon Anyway, my DD just called and said they were restocked, so they were gonna do a very small transaction. I am praying my DH isn't given a hard time about "one per transaction" or anything cause he won't put it back.. he will pay whatever they say. He thinks it is embarassing.. If he actually pays for those darn things, I will be rather aggravated!
DD did tell me that there are probably enough TGI left to do one or two more transactions, so I think I will hit target in the morning on my way to work.

Remind me.. those oral b coupons are beepers right??

So I ordered coupons from theqhunter and I am not happy.

That totally stinks about the freezer. If I was nearby, I would help you eat that ice cream/sorbet, etc... ya know... I'll take one for the team... Do you have neighbors that would help you store stuff? If they are like mine, they have empty freezers. *laugh*

Well, I am assuming it's kidney pain because I've had aching right flank pain off and on for a few months now and it's suddenly gotten sharp - like a rod through my side. If you put your hands on your hips in back with fingertips down at the bone, the pain is up near the heel of my palm. I had blood in my urine at my 6 week post partum check up - they cultured for an infection and nothing showed as far as an infection. I didn't pursue anything after that. I'm stubborn that way. And, of course, now it's getting worse. I don't have my gall bladder or appendix, so kidney is the next likely suspect. I've had kidney stones, but I can't quite recall if this is how I felt leading up to my big attack or not (cuz I would've ignored it then too until it was bad.)

I so don't want to be sick! I need to go shopping!

and one more thing..

has anyone used one of those Roaster pans for a turkey? Looks kinda like a big crock pot. Does it work as nicely as baking the turkey?

Ank, no, another blood draw tomorrow and if all looks good, a sonogram within a week.

Glad to hear you are feeling okay.. I guess they are just checking your hcg levels tomorrow to make sure they are going up like they should? I know you will feel better when you get a nice clear ultrasound picture

We only ever get the 75 cent mq. If I have those, I'll mail them to you.

We didn't get the $1/1 Nabisco this week. Ours is $1/2. Stinkers.


And about the coupons. I know I gripe about this a lot but it is the #1 reason I don't shop at the commissary much. The cashiers here will not scan a single thing until you hand over coupons, then they match them up to the items on the belt. PITA and it's not like they are any cheaper on much so why go out of my way to deal with that?



LOL that it's the manufacturer's fault, because them and their vcn have taken over Target's registers.

I agree about the scams. I feel the same way, now, but long ago I always believed them. Then I saw a news story when we lived in WA State. A TV crew followed one of the guys standing on a corner begging for money. Long story short, it was a scam.

Recently, I was going into Giant and saw a lady frantically searching in her purse. When
I got out of the car, she got out, said she couldn't find her debit card and asked me if she could have $5 to buy milk. Being a good Target person, I gave her a $5 gift card and told her that milk was on sale at T 2/$5, which was conveniently just behind this grocery store. Don't know if it was true but even if it wasn't, not much she could do except use that at Target.


Eek! Do you have a freezer thermometer that you could leave in there to check the temp. or is is possible someone left the door open on accident and it got shut hours later? That's happened here with the fridge that is in the garage.

Well, the weird thing is that you would've thought the infection would show up when they did the culture - they did the quick test and it was negative, so they sent it to a lab for the culture and it still came back negative. I'm thinking maybe a stone again or something. Either way, I'm definitely calling to see if I can get an appt. tomorrow. Not sure where the walk in clinics are around here - surely the doc office would know if they can't fit me in, right?

All I know is that it hurts.

Yeah, I've heard/read lots of stories about how much people can make just by panhandling. When I lived overseas, it was a huge racket, with gangs of gypsies sending their kids through the metro system, begging. I hate to be cynical, but I don't trust most sob stories.




Men are so much alike. But kudos to your husband for even using the coupons! I think mine would draw the line at that. He puts up with a whole lot, but when its checkout time, he disappears.

Speaking of husbands, mine was super nice tonight. He got home a little early, so he told me to go squeeze in a quick T run before dinner and church. I him.

And Oral B does not beep. I think the $10 coupons used to require supervisor approval, but they don't any longer. At least none have that I have used.

Today I receive them. Inside this massive priority envie is a small envie with 40 coupons. Then she wrote on it that she sent 40, charged me for them, but didn't say why. Gave me a store credit for the remaining. (like almost 20.00 worth in credit)
Now, what if I didn't want store credit? I'd rather have the damn coupons and at minimum, a freaking email telling me I can't have all that I ordered.
