Speaking of facebook, do any of you have that friend where they post their status update, and you're left scratching your head, trying to figure if you're the stupid one or they just aren't as funny/clever as they think...

Had a lovely morning and now I'm at home and completely done in. I should be cleaning, but I think I'm going to take a nap. The congestion in my ears in finally abating, just agonizingly slowly. I think its just wearing me out. Hubby asked me what's for dinner. I said probably something TGIF, and he groaned. laugh out loud
lol yep! I also hate when people put stuff like " i just dont know what to do" , " why? " , " I'm not ready for this" ... they are really vague and you know that they just want you to ask them whats wrong! lol I never respond when people post stuff like that.

and thank goodness too. a dear friend/single mom we know has lost her job and was secretly VERY stressed about Christmas. She never said a word until our 'girl group' asked her about it. She was in tears and said she needed help. Thanks to the Vegas Slots known as Target registers, her kids' Christmases are looking up and she'll have a lovely gift basket complete with Olay, Glade, giftcards, etc. nod

I've read everything, but for the past few days I only have time to read then not post, so here. POST. LOL!!!

awesomeness!!!! thanks for the update sweets. Can't wait to see the new Baby
Thats so sad! I hate hearing about people that cant afford to buy for their kids. I always try to donate what I can to toys for tots every year.

Last of the tile is being adhered to the wall in the kitchen today....it *should* be grouted tomorrow then just has to dry but I should be able to get my stuff back in there....just Praying they don't encounter too many issues and it just gets done.

I totally lost my mmq but Hell to all the meanies out here. I got a - well - what I call a migraine. Started at bedtime Tuesday night. I felt all hollow and weird. So weird that I decided to drink a whole aquapod and I H.A.T.E. water, never ever drink it. Then in the middle of the night I wake with a headache then in the AM I cant move I can't even stand for anyone to whisper in the farthest part of the house. I call my MIL she gets the 2 babies and then picks the kids up from school. I still cant function after school - take 2 Motrin PM and don't wake up until DH comes home from work at 11pm. - I STILL hurt, go back to sleep and up until now haven' felt even a little right. This Happens to me a lot. I used to think that I was sup[er sensitive to chemicals but we did not do anything but steam clean the carpets and kids beds with a new cleaner the said it was not toxic???

on top of all of this the stoopid charger to my main lappy is broken, and I hate this mini dell.

Congrats to Rachel, can't wait to see pics.
We (the whole family) have been down with the crud for the past two weeks. Just now feeling like doing anything.

Grandma time is getting closer, DD is 80% effaced and 1 cm so on her way to making me a grandma Cool

No shopping for the longest time for me. Must get out this weekend. I did run to T to get skillet meals. Is it just me or is there no way 4 people could eat one of those and feel full?

hug hug sorry you feel so bad..
Your aquapod comment struck me as funny.. when you said you drank a whole aquapod.. Those things are like a sip to me.. If I drank those all the time I would need about 7 or 8 of them a day..

Have you gone to the doctor and had the headaches evaluated? If you get this sick alot, I would recommend getting it checked out. hug

Congrats on the almost grandma time..

AS far as the skillet meals go.. 4 people, no way.. I have to make my kids share a bag with 2 of them.. The teens eat an entire bag themselves. There is hardly any meat in those.

Thank you to all of you for your well wishes!

I made my daily trip to the eye doctor today, and will go again tomorrow. With a $30 co-pay, this is adding up. I'm up to $180 on that alone. The Rx's have been $125. And this doesn't count all the charges that I will be billed for.

The diagnosis was a corneal ulcer, with an eye infection. He had to SCRAPE my eyeball to remove loose cells, and to get cells to culture for information about the infection. He said I would be more uncomfortable than I had been, and boy, was he right! What pain!

I have spent the last two days and nights on the sofa, putting drops in my eyes every hour during the day and every two hours at night. Finally today, I get to switch to every two hours during the day and every four hours at night.

I had been taking Vicodin for the pain, and I took that during the night on an empty stomach. I was so nauseated yesterday morning that I finally threw up several times.

Today is the first day I've been able to look at the computer screen for any length of time. I think I may be caught up on TCC, but not on deals. Oh well... in time.

And I still have to grocery shop for the Thanksgiving meal! I can't even drive yet!

I don't think there is even a whole chicken breast in each bag, but with a salad/bread, it works for 2.

I worked outside on the Christmas stuff all day today. It think I have everything assembled, arranged, and staked down except for one thing and I may do some inside work on it yet tonight. It's a blimp with penguins in it and I want it sort of look like it's flying but it isn't made to hang. Sooo, I have a plan. Tomorrow I light everything up.

I got wet this afternoon and then the temp dropped so I came in the house freezing . My legs were fire engine red -- that's the part that got wet. I am now bathed and warm but man am I sleepy. Geez, it's 5:30 and fighting to stay awake.

I have one set of 2 penguins that I bought on clearance after Christmas last year. I'm pretty sure it came from Target. They are missing their beaks and scarves. I am not a happy camper. I meant to see if there was any info on the box and call and ask if they would send them to me but I got busy and forgot. One more thing for tomorrow's to-do list. Beakless penguins look goofy.
