What is everyone making for Thanksgiving? Does anyone have any kick arse crock pot or roaster recipes? Me thinks I may buy my mom a roaster too.. cause I love mine!!

For me, Thanksgiving is unsure for now as I am not sure if I will go to my parents house or stay here and cook..
As for BF I am not looking for any particular item as I don't think the sales are that great but I am still looking for a decent deal on camcorders.. but me thinks I am too picky LOL Then dsi xl's but probably will just buy them at TRU tomorrow.. or the next day lol
I saw that TRU has an Ipod touch on special for BF but my luck is they won't have any in stock... so will buy one of those probably in the next few too.. other than that I think everything I want is small.. so easy enough... I have to get up at 5am and it is 3:33...wth!?!
Diagnosed with a UTI and sent home. Went by CVS to get my antibiotic and came home to rest. Was home for about 20 minutes when I got this excrutiating pain radiating from my back/side to the front left. Felt like knives being stabbed into me.
Called the ER since I had JUST left there. At this point I can barely walk and barely talk I'm in so much pain. DH takes me back to the ER and they take me back for an u/s on my kidneys. No stones (well, one spot might be but only a CT will confirm it and can't do that while pregnant) so they are almost certain it's progressed to a kidney infection.
Now what's insane is that prior to that office visit I had ZERO symptoms of a UTI except the off and on spotting and then bleeding. However, I thought that was from the pregnancy. They did a pelvic exam and there was no signs of blood anywhere near my cervix. That's a relief. All of this spotting is from the damn kidney infection.
Had some good pain meds and IV antibiotics with Zofran, took a nice nap, came home.

The room I am working on has a cement floor & cement walls on the bottom half of the wall *the room is half underground* the top half of the wall is above ground. I can rip out the drywall and look behind it ... I am guessing cement walls at the lower half ... which I thought I would paint with the Killz and then put that Tyvek moisture barrier cemented to the wall *after it has been bleached/scrubbed/dried/painted with the Killz) then I would put in insulation in a bag and put up green board which I would also paint with the Killz. Then the rest of the procedure I explained ... do you think that would do it?
i don't think this is going to do much to help with the severity of your situation. what you are describing would likely help if you were getting wet patches showing up on walls or some paint peeling. but when you have puddles, you've got a bigger problem.
also, you really shouldn't be doing all this ripping open walls etc yourself given the mold problem there. as meeshe mentioned, mold buildup is very, very dangerous and very, very toxic. wearing a mask is not enough. if you walk around the house with those clothes, those shoes etc, you are carrying those mold spores everywhere. and even if you don't walk around, tearing things up is releasing all that into the air of your home. plus, given what you describe, it's likely that the water has soaked the insulation behind the drywall and you might have mold in there, too. and you don't want that to spread up into the ductwork, or along the walls to upper levels, because it can a) result in lifelong health issues and b) depending on spread, could require the house to be condemned.
so, i think your best bet, as slowtech already said, is to immediately get some mold, waterproofing and insulation contractors to come look at the house and give you their estimates as well as their review of the situation. then you can make a judgment. unless the mold is just a little bit in small superficial areas, major mold removal is not something you want to do yourself. and also there are many different kinds of household mold some very toxic, some more benign, albeit still harmful. before you start tearing things up and releasing all that into your household air, you are going to want a mold company to test and figure out what kind of mold it is. because there are different removal methods for different kinds of mold (and hazmat suits needed definitely for some of them).
finally, you mentioned making the house livable - did you guys just buy this house recently? because if so you could have a financial/legal claim against the home inspector and the seller, for not detecting/disclosing these issues. major water buildup does not happen overnight unless there is a flood. and mold buildup certainly does not happen overnight.

as i mentioned to ank a few days ago, if you have a trader joe's near you they sell 100% pure cranberry juice with no additives (it is tart) for 3.99 a bottle. it is very helpful to drink that diluted with water throughout the day. like 2 ounces cranberry juice to 4-6 ounces water (as tart as you can tolerate is good). really, really helps with any urinary infections. of course probably worth asking your doc first if he/she thinks it is fine for you to do so.
you can also take the cranberry pills but i don't know what else goes in those and/or if they are as effective as pure juice, so i stay away.
if you don't have a TJ's near you, but would still like to get the juice, check any natural grocery store near you, or even a major grocery chain. they all sell unsweetened, no other juice added, 100% pure cran juice. more expensive at other places but that is the correct product.

Thanks everyone. Feeling much better today. Going out today to T (of course) and then hunting for cranberry juice. The doctor said to find it without sugar so I'm going to do my best.
I asked them last night if they'd just take that kidney out but they wouldn't.
