I just want to say that one little post of mine in Deals has gotten a response from my two least favorite people-Alanisrox and Country Fan. His was rude and I'm 99% sure hers was facetious. I wasn't really posting to the forum but to the person that clears my shelves, which in this case I know isn't either one of them.

Anyway, thanks for the support from some of you here in TCC.

wave Hi all, been away from the computer all day, thanks for not leaving me too much to catch up on Wink Blowkiss And can I just say:

THE KITCHEN IS DONE!!!

Most of my stuff is back in. I have GOT to clean this house and then I will take some pics and post! My to-do list is already way too long for the next few days before the Thanksgiving madness starts Sadwalk BUT I have done a lot of talking to dh's family members and I really have hope that the holidays are going to run smoother this year --- huge plus. I have never, ever felt that way going into this week.

So ... I had another sale today, with a table at a church, about 30 miles from my house. Guess who was there? nod The same competition that was at the sale last week. I have been selling for like 3 years locally here and never had competition. And not only were they there, but they were set up right behind my table, so we were literally back to back the entire sale. Talk about awkward. I almost cried when I realized what the situation was, but I pulled it together and ended up being blessed with a fairly decent sale. I just determined to be the friendliest salesperson out there, and let God handle the rest. And boy, did He! I have no idea how the other people did, I know they were priced higher than me on most everything by at least a dollar. But I made $400, so I was happy. I had made $480 last year, so that's not too far off considering what I was up against.

Anyway, so I got a nap when I got home, and then we went to dinner and then to Nordstrom Rack to get the kids new shoes. Honestly, I will probably go there first whenever I'm looking for shoes. They are *maybe* $5 more than Target for kids' shoes, and the quality is at least triple what you get at Target. Yes, the selection is not reliable, but we were still able to find a pair of dress shoes for my son, and a pair of black dress shoes and a pair of shearling boots for my daughter, all three pairs for around $50. Not too shabby.

Now I must sort coupons while watching Netflix. And for anyone who does the streaming, Lie to Me season 2 was just added. Big Grin

Yay for being finished with the kitchen! I am sure that is a HUGE relief!!

I must get my daughter one of the pillow pets! I am not sure, though, which one she would want. She hasn't really shown a preference for any particular one. I'm leaning towards the unicorn or the ladybug. I think the best deal I'll be able to find is either one at T with overage or one at RA with 20% off and Ups. No Office Max around me...

Anybody shopped Staples on BF before?? I am wondering if you could use a $$/$$ q there on black friday. I don't know why not but I don't want to be surprised Smilie Thinking I might try to pick up a couple external hard drives there since I have ink recycling rewards to use too:

+ small filler if needed to get to $100

-$20 ink recycling reward

Anybody think that will or won't work?

Flugette - congrats on a great sale! Sounds like you did great in the situation..
As far as the pillow pets go. My DD really wanted one and I just picked one up last week. She kept changing her mind about which one she wanted. Bad thing is, the selection online is so much better than what you see in the stores. I liked the dolphin online.. but, I am not paying what they want for it. Most stores I have been in have about 4 or 5 to chose from.. I got the lady bug and it is cute.. the puppy is cute too! I got mine at CVS with a 5/20 coupon and paid with my extra bucks!
