Me too. I could use some cheese coupons but now that the Target ones are exp $1 off does not seem that good a deal. I sure wish I would have had my printer before the high value Kraft exp.

Sorry if this is a dumb question... for the 50% off coupons, do you need to use 1 coupon for every pair of items, or will 1 coupon take off 50% if you have more than 2 items. i.e. lets say you buy 4 LPS items - will 1 coupon take 50% off of all 4 items, or only 2 items? Thanks!

Thanksgiving will be here we are also celebrating ds 5th birthday, its actually the 29th but do to limited budget and everyone will be here for thanksgiving anyways it just makes since to do it all together.

So we will be having traditoinal thanksgiving dinner, and probably filipino party food: lumpia, scewers and pancit is a must (it is said long noodles means a long life)

For blackfriday I'm not sure I will be shopping since they are making me work friday I didn't have anything particular, I need gifts for my kids for xmas. I don't have anything yet for them and no clue what to get either

I am pissed. I hate being singled out at T. I did a small run, just grabed some jammies and a Xmas Carol dvd but went for some RC that I had forgot yesterday. Well I check out then the kids want icees and popcorn so I say I'll get my RC over there cause they are not busy. Well they claim they can't and that thier regisatrs are special and gives my hand written list of 5 RC to the LOD or WTFeva she then claims someone need to verify each and everything on my RC list to make sure that they are not in stock, that they are not seasonal items, and if they can even give it to me....I'm like "No problem we are going to have a snack" -- well snack is done 15 minutes later and they still don't have RC for me, I say ''Well how much longer?"
She says'' IDK however long it takes her to locate all the items and check ''
Then I'm all "That is easily accoplished with a handheld pda. Are you seriously going to make me wait any longer for this foolishness?''

So ... I had another sale today, with a table at a church, about 30 miles from my house. Guess who was there? The same competition that was at the sale last week. I have been selling for like 3 years locally here and never had competition. And not only were they there, but they were set up right behind my table, so we were literally back to back the entire sale. Talk about awkward. I almost cried when I realized what the situation was, but I pulled it together and ended up being blessed with a fairly decent sale. I just determined to be the friendliest salesperson out there, and let God handle the rest. And boy, did He! I have no idea how the other people did, I know they were priced higher than me on most everything by at least a dollar. But I made $400, so I was happy. I had made $480 last year, so that's not too far off considering what I was up against.

Anyway, so I got a nap when I got home, and then we went to dinner and then to Nordstrom Rack to get the kids new shoes. Honestly, I will probably go there first whenever I'm looking for shoes. They are *maybe* $5 more than Target for kids' shoes, and the quality is at least triple what you get at Target. Yes, the selection is not reliable, but we were still able to find a pair of dress shoes for my son, and a pair of black dress shoes and a pair of shearling boots for my daughter, all three pairs for around $50. Not too shabby.

Now I must sort coupons while watching Netflix. And for anyone who does the streaming, Lie to Me season 2 was just added.

I was in massive pain last night so my OB sent me to the ER again. I don't have a kidney infection, they think it's a kidney stone. Today the pain is much easier. They are doing a kidney sonogram tomorrow and more bloodwork.

I'm so bored. Thankful they at least have wi-fi. I so badly wanted to go to Target and get that damn turkey roaster.

Had a GREAT run at T this morning! Lots of Tag books, board games, LPS. Weird, I got 2 of the 9.99 sets and when the 50% TQ was scanned, it deducted $9.99, but on the receipt, it shows $4.99 being deducted from each item.

Found lots of xhilaration sleep shorts. There were some plaid cotton ones that were $1.98 while the rest were $4.98+. Guess which ones I bought?

I freaking T these days. Saw a mom in line behind me with tag books & pens. She didn't have any coupons for the pens. I handed her TQ and MQ and she started to cry...a little. I like being able to spread the coupon love!.

OK, so I am not sure why I have been keeping this a secret but....

we are moving to Orlando next month! After renting a storage unit last month, we have been slowly packing up our house and we have found someone to rent our house starting in January. We were always planning on moving back before February (Bar exam) but DH's current employer offered to transfer him to Tampa for same pay and no relocation... However, DH is/was not too happy with current employer and sought out a new position. He was offered a job last week with more pay and relocation...only to Orlando. It is still a great opportunity and while we wish we would be moving to Tampa...Orlando is just as close to family etc.

WE haven't told family the news. They all know he flew down to FL for an interview but haven't heard the verdict...I feel bad that we have been dodging their calls but DH doesn't want me to tell anyone until the ink dries on his new contract. DH is giving notice that his last day here in MI will be December 17, which will get him paid through the end of the year (w/ vacation& sick time) which means he will actually have the holidays off! In the restaurant biz, it is virtually impossible to get time off around the holidays!!

We are so excited. DH will actually be training with his new company in Tampa for 10 weeks after the first of the year...we will have a relative's empty (but furnished) house to live in there until we square away a house in Orlando.

meesh, we are going out of town again in a few days so I hit two STs yesterday trying to burn up a lot of my 11/30s and all deals that are exp soon that I won't be home to shop for. I haven't read deals so I missed out on the toy deals that are out right now. Need to go back for those! On the DH (it does stand for damn husband right? issue, sometimes I think I need to just be gone and let him deal with everything by himself for a week or so, then maybe he wouldn't take everything I do for granted. He says he already knows, he can't handle them alone.

He was so grouchy, tired, all baby wah wah, when I got home because he was here alone with them for 6 hours yesterday and he had to 'babysit' omg! WTH? You don't babysit your own kids! You parent your children, you should know how to take care of them and provide at least one meal! Besides it is not like I was out shopping for fun or for me, we need TP and tide, and cheap groceries like produce and TGIF. I was so relieved to find a total of about 9 shirts and 3 or 4 pants (between both STs) for DS because he had absolutely NOTHING to wear. To cold for tshirts and shorts now and none of the long sleeve from last winter fit. Most were around $1.50 to $3 I was so relieved since that was all that was in the budget.

I love to trade coupons but I am not good at it either. I either run out of stamps or can't find them. Kids get sick and I don't get to the PO. There just seems to be to many things that pop up in the way, make it difficult for me to do a timely trade, and I like to stuff envelopes so full they need extra postage. Besides the fact that I have three kids and a DH that will NOT LEAVE MY STUFF ALONE! Right now my address book is missing, and none of them admit to moving or taking it. I guess the big problem is I don't have a desk, we don't really have room for a desk. So they are always into my things, papers, coupons, stamps, notebooks, they move my stuff all over and take stuff.
