Can I really buy the Garmin GPS today, price adjust it on Friday and then do a missed Q later ($30 TQ)? TQ is good thru 25 Dec. Brother wants a TomTom for Christmas (but I've already planned to buy him a big screen TV), but I think he'll take a Garmin at the BF price minus the TQ

Can I do the TQ at the same time I'm doing the price adjustment, or wait?

I made one about a month ago and the recipe called for Nilla Wafers in place of the grahams for the crust...

I just used my Q and it was a PIA. 1st she said oh you cant use this on sales items, so i took the Q back to read it again and it states that you can..so I handed it back and told her to read it again. Then it took longer to check out cuz she had to enter my info becase I didnt have me HM card with me ...blah...

So I'm assuming that every time you use this Q they will ask you for ur card and it shows up in ur account that you have already used it if you try to use it more than once?

I don't see anywhere on the coupon where your card is required to use this coupon. I would imagine if you just said you didn't have a card, didn't want to sign up for one, that the coupon would work fine. At least, that's what I plan to do.

Thank you guys again for the well wishes. I finally see some improvement. On Friday, my "good" eye finally became useful. It's no longer so light-sensitive, so it stays open. And I can actually read some now without it being unbearable pain. The left eye, the one with the ulcer & infection, is trying to open, but closes right back up after light gets in it. It's very blurry and of not much use. A lot of the time it feels like a pin is sticking in it. I still have to cover my left eye with my hand when reading on the computer. But it is healing. I go back to the doc on Tuesday.

He also wants me to come in on the evening of 12/1, when he's presenting a seminar to eye specialists. He wants me to be a case study. I agreed of course, but I wish this hadn't been such a cause for study. Something simple would have been fine with me. But no... I had to go all out!

OK, I really have to get moving here, but I'm gonna post a coupla pics my friend took over the weekend. She always does such a great job with my kiddos, and this is no exception. Mind you, these haven't been cleaned up or anything, just the rough draft, but still pretty amazing. : D

Holy shit, I had to buy butter today -- it was $3.09 Lb. at HyVee. I even ran over to Fareway (don't like Fareway) thinking it might be cheaper. HA. It was $0.20 a lb. more.

Here's a little quick one you might like:

Petite Cheesecakes

Line a cupcake pan with 24 cupcake papers
Lay 1 Nilla Wafer in the bottom of each one

Beat Together Until Smooth:

2 (8 oz) Cream Cheese
3/4 Cup Sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbs. Lemon Juice
1 Tsp. Vanilla (I always use more)

Fill each cup 2/3 full
Bake at 375 for 15 - 20 minutes

Cool and top with pie filling. (Once again, I recommend the Extra Fruit cherry or blueberry)

Easy Little Apple Dumplings

2 Large Granny Smith apples peeled, cored, sliced into eighths.
2 Cans (8) Crescent Rolls
2 Sticks of Butter
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
2 Tbs. Cinnamon
1 Can (12 oz.) Mt. Dew (not diet)

Wrap each piece of apple in one crescent roll. Lay in 9 x 13 pan

Melt butter and mix in cinnamon and sugar. Spoon over the rolls. Pour the can of Mt. Dew over the whole thing.

Bake at 325 for 45 minutes
Let stand 15 - 20 minutes

Let me just add that I HATE Mt. Dew. This does not taste like Mt. Dew and is delicious.

Not technically a cheese cake, but it's sort of cheese cakey.

Make one package of Dream Whip according to directions. (NOT Cool Whip)
Beat in 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese and 1 cup of powdered sugar until smooth.
Pour into a graham cracker crust.
Top with cherry pie filling. (I use Wilderness Extra Fruit -- the extra fruit is definitely worth the extra $$)
Chill

Sometimes I chill it before I put the pie filling on it. Then I usually just stick the can in the fridge so it gets cold too.

Yeah, this always cracks me up. "Mine didn't taste like yours". Ummm, what did you follow the directions? Sorry but my recipe didn't say cheap off brand imitation semi sweet chocolate flavored chips and margerine. Yes, I know Hershey's MILK Chocolate chips and REAL honest to God straight from cow butter is expensive.

I didn't go to Pamida triples and I didn't go to Target. I just didn't feel like doing all that driving. We were getting some freezing drizzle but the roads were clear so I couldn't even use that as an excuse. Please don't take away my TCC membership card.

I did my papers, stopped at the library, got my grocery stuff right in town at and HyVee, took the dog (just mine today) to the lake for a very short time and came home.

I've read that they (ymmv if it's a store full of jerks, as usual) will pricematch their own prices as long as it's not one of the doorbusters. Personally I would buy, go immediately to customer service for the missed coupon, then price adjust on Friday.

Okay, back to Target. Will be looking for the Phillips Rechargeable TB $3x.xx. Plan to use the $25 MQ and $10 Rebate.

So doing the TQ early won't affect the price adjustment on Friday? Why not just do the TQ when checking out then (attachment reasons)?
