I have my washer dryer listed on CL and someone responded saying they are interested, will send a money order and after I have cashed it, they will arrange for a pickup, is this a scam? I have never sold anything big on CL

Yes that is a scam, don't trust anyone that wants to send you a money order or check... no go...

I totally agree! My BIL sold some stereo equipment and accepted money orders (this was at least 5 years ago). They will clear the bank just fine but they will always come back counterfeit. It took him forever to clear it all up and to pay fines & all the money back. Disaster.

There is a JMS B2G1 Gillette deodorant coupon in the upcoming P&G. And a BOGO Pantene as well. They are slowly starting to make their way to e*bay. Cool

DH told me that he doesn't want me to shop anymore while we are here. Sadwalk I am trying to reason with him---his company is paying for our move plus paying for people to load & unload...what's the big deal with a *few* extra pounds? Plus, I can unload it all when we get there and have a stockpile sale ASAP. Welcome to the neighborhood! laugh out loud Bottom line-- I.Can't.Stop.Shopping.

So we are staying with DH's aunt in Pittsburgh over Thanksgiving and MIL rented a hotel room.... she called earlier and said she would keep my boys at the aunt's house while DH and I take the hotel! Whee Plus, his aunt said the Target is right across the street from the hotel! *doublewhee*

Yes. It's horrible. Slow, keeps timing out. I use FF and watching down in the corner it says it's connecting to i.slickdealz.net then other things flicker and I swear one of them is facebook and the other weird initials.

Now it looks funny -- bigger, different font -- but once I enter this and go to another page it will probably be normal again. Once it finally gets there. Last time I timed out three time -- and I have high speed cable internet.

I figured it is a scam since CL has warnings about it but how do they scam people by sending a MO...Curious about that part..Thanks for the heads up...

I think people have ways to imitate how a M.O. or cashier's check would look.

Another story about my brother in law, he had a bad break up with his fiance and wanted to sell the ring he gave her. This was before people were wise to these types of scams. He sold it on ebay and some international buyer bought it. They actually set up a site similar to paypal and made a fake payment to his account. It looked legit and he mailed the ring. Before he actually received the money, the payment mysteriously disappeared and the website was gone. Luckily, he was able to contact customs and they were able to stop the transaction before the scammer tried to claim the ring.. Crazy

I think I have almost everything I need for my run to Target but I can't find the $5/3 Hasboro.

Also I wanted to get some $10/2 Leapfrog book coupons but I need a Tropicana code.

Does anybody have a Tropicana code? I googled a tun last night and found a few but they are to old and expired. And we threw a Trop carton away last week. Frown

It is two Tropicana rewards points to print the Leapfrog coupons and I have one point.

These are the last two coupons I need before my Target run.
Can someone help me please? Eyelash lol
