Thanks and good for you --- that is a LOT in 3 wks!!! Cutting out the pop definitely helps...I remember doing that the last time I lost and the weight came off QUICK for awhile.

didn't grow up drinking soda -- soda was for birthday parties only at our house and then, too, in limited quantities; water with meals; milk or juice at breakfast. so that's what i knew - no juice all day, no soda all day, no calorie filled sugary drinks all day. in college all my friends drank soda, harangued me about not drinking soda (we're so dumb as teenagers) and plus the water at the cafeteria tasted yucky. so i took to drinking diet coke. used to drink 2 2-liter bottles a day. sometimes more. EEK! i was always peeing laugh out loud and always had this empty stomach feeling/munching on junk snacks. did that for about 4-5 years. then one lent i gave up diet coke. missed it horribly for about 10-15 days. had headaches. was tired. longed for some taste. blah blah. but after that, i got used to it. and suddenly realized the empty tummy feeling was gone. as was the carbonation filled gassy feeling (not flatulence, just instead feeling all filled with air and puffy). it was lovely. and i dropped weight, thanks to no junk snacking. by the time lent was done, i didn't miss the diet coke at all, and i felt so much better afterwards.
i have never gone back. and i always remember the difference in feeling.

might be worth trying! maybe just cutting back consumption at first. down to one glass or one can a day. then making it every other day and so forth, till it no longer is a daily habit.

i'm excited for lent to see what unhealthy habit i can give up this time -- because every time i do that, i never go back to it after. it just works itself out of my system and habit pattern. woot

i'm very good at googling but i couldn't find it thru searching. he must have told her when he was interviewing her. i had asked him to prove to me somehow that he wasn't a troll (he had actually written an article about trolls in the NY Times Sunday mag a few yrs ago) so we agreed he would put a word of my choosing in his blog. he decided to post this pic and i asked him to leave it up so my friends could see when the mag came out. few days later, ladycat pm'd me asking what this pic was about.

So I had the worst time making this dang cheesecake today. Luckily it turned out phenomenally well....perfectly done, no cracks, etc. but at one point I thought I was going to have to start completely over Faint First the Ziploc bag split open in a couple places while I was crushing the wafers....OK, caught that before it leaked too terribly much. Then my batter was lumpy Confused I have not had that problem in a LONG time and it usually only happened if I hadn't set the ingredients out to soften enough in advance....they had been sitting out long enough this time. Remedied that by turning the mixer up a little, whew! Then I'm melting the white chocolate on the stove like always...I have NEVER burned it....and it starts scalding. Caught that right when it started and was able to salvage it by passing it through a strainer/sieve to get out the little burned pieces....didn't taste bad at all so I just used it. Thought for SURE this thing was gonna crack all over when I went to bake it just because it'd been that kind of an experience but nope....came out perfect....best one I think I've had yet as far as the cooking went Rofl2

Guess it just wasn't my day in the kitchen LMAO

Ok beep free disney items for the princess coupons are? And what about the MLP one? Me thinks I NEED to use them tomorrow or else I may have a heart attack letting the coupon go by lol I have read what they work on from the deals boards... but you know how that goes...

Oh and if it does beep and an amount needs to be put in is a supervisor needed to override it??

Apparently I am going to my parents house with the kids... I guess it's good but now to come up with side dishes... not sure yet!!

Yeah, I need to sit down and figure out the princess stuff too.. I am not so into the MLP one cause I have a ton of those.. I read in deals I think about the princess one working on some rather expensive itemswoot

I feel like I am so out of touch.. been working too much the last few days. Had to reschedule my hair appointment tonight, so I decided to hit target and publix.
Got a turkey, some bacon and several other things at Publix and was out the door for 5.xx

Ran to target, saw a jedi, loaded the cart, and jedi was gone.. Got into a line and kinda worried for a minute cause this guys tag said "trainer" and I never have good luck with those.. But, in the end, I was the trainer Teehee this kid must have been wearing someone elses name tag.. No way he had been there more than 2 days.. Totally had no idea what to do when the GC prompt came up, so I walked him through it.. and then he couldn't even figure out how to get the case off of my movie.. In the end, he had a great lesson on coupon scanning and I left pretty happy.. Almost felt like old times..
I heart me some TGIF

Wanted the roaster and the fisher price nativity set that were on sale, but both were outFrown gonna try that nativity thing again tomorrow at another target.. And, my store was totally out of all kinds of OM bacon, and not one dozen eggs to be found!

I did get the tag reader, did a missed coupon at CS for the TQ, and hoping to price match on Fridaywoot

Thats what I saw in deals... but I trust the meanies here rather than over in deals where most are newbies they don't get it when the computer beeps, etc. YAY on the target run.. I am thinking that you should go off and get your hair did... I need to get my done.. but don't know what to do with it.. cause it's curly which equals frizz lol

oh, I am going to get my hair done.. But the lady that was doing it had an emergency tonight and had to reschedule for tomorrow.. No problem, just gives me another excuse to hit target on the way. I am getting a cut and color done. I told her to do whatver cause anything will be an improvement laugh out loud

I go in the evening during the week, and all hours of the day during the weekend. I like checking out right before closing during the week, because they are in a hurry to get you out of the store so they can go homelaugh out loud I usually have great success at that time during the week LMAO of course its Target so thats subject to change at there discretion.Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
