Food processor has been on my list for a loooooooong, long time Smilie

I hate melting in the microwave --- I have more of a tendency to scorch Wink I think I was just trying to do too much at once. Melted caramel and evap. milk tonight and it went just fine Smilie
I felt like you today and had to laugh. First, while crushing Nilla Wafers, the bag got a hole in it and crumbs blew everywhere. I thought "duh" then put them in the food processor instead. Then my bff called and I was still trying to cook (bad idea Nono ) and ended up scorching my first batch of white chocolate in the microwave. Batch 2 had to go into the double boiler since it was my last shot Teehee All ended well though and the cheesecake looks lovely........but........



it's still in the springform pan!! What next?!?! I had never used one of these. Do I take it out of the pan tomorrow before serving?? I lined the bottom with parchment paper..Help

The monster cookies made by my boys came out far better than my first pie. Hopefully I tweaked the recipe enough so that it tastes good when its cooked tomorrow.

Gotta get packing and to sleep...we plan to hit the road tomorrow by 6. Have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving everyone! And, an awesome BF shopping day! I will probably be the only one in T with a cart full of crap including tgif and curel Rofl2 I remember last year someone asking me if there was a doorbuster deal on pampers... shake head Just liked a few packs of dipes with my secret deodorant! It expired 11/18. And its a bad barcode, as are all the Leapfrog, so when I've tried to use it the last day or so, I have been turned down because it doesn't scan and they notice the barcode. Now the current $10/2, they just type in the numbers and it works. shake head Not sure why they can't do that with the Tag one! Wink

It did scan for me, three times. Big Grin

I am going back tonight to get the 40" Westinghouse TV. Then PA Friday. I will check reviews later and return if too bad.

My store is open till 11:00. I guess maybe they all are.

Saw an interesting memo up by the cashier tonight. Regarding the $10 gift card wyb $100, it said that if the customer questioned why they did not receive 3 $10 gift cards because their purchase was over $300 (for example), the cashier was to scan the barcode indicated two more times and give them 2 additional gift cards. OMG So perhaps the wording is inconclusive and they figured it was a battle they couldn't win? Not sure, but anyway, if you guys have a total over $200 or more or whatever, then feel free to ask for the additional gift cards. Also, it listed out the exclusions and requirements about receiving the gift card, and nowhere were manufacturer coupons mentioned. So if the register does deactivate the gift card, I would definitely question that strongly at guest services. nod

And ... I was able to get the Garmin for hubby!!! I am so excited. He has always asked for a GPS, but I have never seen the need for one. So this is basically my concession to him, to show him I really do love him. Big Grin Anyway, I couldn't keep it a secret, and he had already guessed, but I made him promise he wouldn't open it until I have the cold hard cash in my hands on Friday.

Also, I saw the blankets that are on sale on BF, and they are NICE. Will have to set aside some $$ to get one of those.

We were able to use 2 of the 50% Disney Princess coupons today and I scored the big 54.xx set for DD for 27.xx woot Of course I told her it was for Toys for Tots and I hope she thinks it's a different set that Santa brings....Scratchchin
