Daughter got off work at 3:00. I was just heading to the kitchen to finish stuff up and stick the first pan of rolls in the oven. Hubby got a trouble call -- gates down in a town a little over an hour away. So, dinner around 6 at the soonest.

I am going to assume that the wind took them out rather than some @#)*#$&* trucker. It makes me feel better and less apt to wanna injure semi drivers who hit railroad gates. (Seriously, this is a very very common occurrence)

Then, out of nowhere this weird little mini blizzard started. Bizarre.

TN-your cheesecake was a wonderful hit Worthy For anyone that missed it, it was a white chocolate cheesecake. I added Nielson-Massey Vanilla bean paste to make it more of a white chocolate vanilla bean...and OMG, was it good. I used the Nilla Wafer crust idea from TM4D and it was lick the spatula good Wink

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! I cooked and cleaned so much, I haven't even begun to check for online deals. The PS3 bundle is active at Target.com, but the 10% coupon won't work Doh What a headache......

Aww sweetie, so sorry. If you lived closer, you could have come and eaten dinner with us. We had SO much food. I can barely move I ate so much. Hoping I dont feel like such a sluggish, fat butt tomorrow!!

I should really pay better attention/take notes when reading SD.....

A few weeks ago, some people (I think Kallison and maybe getgreen) were talking about good makeup for people with acne-prone skin. I am wanting to buy my daughter some really good makeup for Xmas that does not break out her skin. We are beginning to wonder if she is allergic to the fragrances or dyes that is in most makeup. She has been wearing very light makeup for a couple weeks and her skin seems to really be improving.
Can someone PLEASE give me some good recommendations.

I'm so tired that the thought of shopping tomorrow makes me want to cry. Going to try to do a few T runs tomorrow because I figure it will be a shenanigans filled Jedi convention.

Cole has that wicked cough again. It was gone and the baby got it and now she is well and he is sick again. I'm considering abandoning this family in an attempt to find a new, healthier one.

In other news, I think I have FINALLY found somewhere that is actually shipping my camera. I've had 3 orders canceled do to being out of stock. Hope everyone had a great turkey day. My desserts were a hit.

I have to second this. I made it, as well, and also switched out the graham cracker crust for the Nilla Wafer one, as that's hubby's favorite cookie. Anyway, hubby LOVED it, said it was the best cheesecake I've ever made, and possibly the best he's ever had, including Cheesecake Factory.

So, TN, a part of you was in at least 2 TCC homes today! hug

Now off to finalize my Black Friday list. Big Grin

Have you already tried Clinique? I know neutrogena and almay are supposed to be hypo-allergenic, but they also contain a lot of chemicals and/or fragrances that some people (like me and my mom) are sensitive to.

No, she hasnt tried Clinique. She is only 18 and has just been using cheaper brands like Revlon, Maybelline, etc.
So, Clinique doesnt have all the added chemicals/fragrances?
