Yesterday was my 48th birthday. The day before that was the 8th anniversary of my Dad's death.

Yesterday also was Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for all of you in this thread, as you are all helpful, friendly and really seem to care about each other. You all have taught me the Target way. I'll never forget mofome, setsail and mama2cole for their pms while I was learning.

Hug2 and Prayers for all of you and your families.
Happy Birthday!! Sorry about your father - I doubt that pain ever goes away...hug

So, how many of you east coasters just made it in to Target??? Smilie I'm heading to bed. Need to be to Target a little before 10 to see if I can convince them to let me PA (or return/rebuy) a couple of doorbusters that I bought last night. Can't wait to hear all the shenanigans!! LMAO

Remember I've never shopped like this on Black Friday (and I ought to have my head examined for going this morning, as the parking lot was full before 4 am . . . I couldn't sleep and my brother said that the TV would be a good one. No place to walk, couldn't get thru the aisles and they didn't even have the products where the 2 day map was either). I came home with nothing except Pepsi hangtags. Still haven't been to sleep yet.

My store was a no go on Price Adjustment. I ordered one online with the same price and the Q. Just have to pay extra for shipping.

They won't get the other one back until AFTER Christmas, so that they have a less chance of selling it Evillaugh

Happy Birthday TN! hug You're the bestest. You have helped me so much and I do appreciate it. High Five

What were you doing a Price Adjustment on that was a no go? That is a bummer.

This was my first BF too and it was exciting. I woke up at 3:30 with the alarm going off in my head. Did not set my clock. It was after 4:00 before I found a parking spot. Line was down the block and to the back of the block.

I was able to check out in Guest Services and also do my Price Adjustments with very little waiting there. I bought another Garmin this morning and the $30 coupon worked fine and got the $10 GC for purchase over $100 and 5% off for using Red Card.

I got Price Adjustments on Garmin, 2 Tag Readers, Westinghouse TV and Portable Hard Drive. Was able to do missed coupon, $30, on the Garmin. Yahoo!

Trying to work some magic on the XBox 360 for a gift.

Happy belated birthday TN. Smilie

I'm on my 2nd cup of coffee, first piece of pumpkin pie. Big Grin Trying to get motivated to go out, but the thought of dragging 3 kids through the BF madness (and the cold rain)... well, I think I'd rather just sit and drink my coffee and eat the pie!

Roll

My oldest is looking through some random websites and came across one with pics of Cher. She says to me, "Cher - who is she? Wait, he? She? I think she..." Facepalm

I'm not sure where I went wrong with this kid...

My throat is really sore this morning too. Dh was kind and shared with me! He has to work today and I miss him already!

Good morning crazies!

No BF shopping for me. There really isn't anything I need + everything is so damn far away. I really hate the crowds, cannot stand to be surrounded by people like that -- yet, in a weird way, I kinda miss it and wish I was out there scurrying around. The only thing I might have been interested in was the $200 WalMart Tv but I guess if I were that interested, I would have gotten up and tried to order it online.

We are making the trip to one town in a little while -- hubby's hearing processor is getting adjusted again. It's doing some weird stuff so we are trying this guy one more time (we aren't impressed with him - it's not the doc that did the surgery that does the programming) and/or there have been some problems with some processors sooo.... who knows. Try this first and go from there.

There are actually a couple things at Menards so we might run in there later. Oh, and hubby is already out again this morning -- another trouble call. At least this time it's right around here.

Oh, has anyone bought an iPod 32gb at Wal-Mart and is it giving the $50 gc too? It's only advertised on the 8gb but you know how that is sometimes.

I hate shit like this [ebay.com] OMG We only have 2 TRU in a 50 mile radius, one at 8 oclock the other at 11 and in order to get to the other you have to go back 50 miles to the center of the clock then drive out the hand 50 miles to the other -- This was all I wanted from TRU and now I am sad Sadwalk

No ToysRUs anywhere around. I've been considering the Amazon deal. There is a WalMart where we are going, I might pop in and ask. I am taking an ad in to do a price on a Pizzazz Pizza maker ($20) anyway. I hope they'll do it, it's a Fleet Farm ad and there isn't one in that town. Can't hurt to ask.

He got home around 6 and we did have a nice dinner, thanks. I don't know what the heck went on with the turkey. They are always good -- juicy, tender, but this one literally fell of the bone. It was so dang tender the bones fell apart. No kidding, he had a heck of a time picking it apart.

We did try something a little different this year -- I cooked it breast side down so that the breast was sitting in the juices -- I use an oven bag so you retain all the broth, there was a good 3 - 4 cups from a 13 lb. bird. The breast is always moist, not dry, in the bags, but it was actually juicy this time. I think we will cook them boobies down from now on.

Attention K-CUP peeps: Is this a good deal? 2 - 24 packs for $16.58.

Happy, late, late Birthday TN!! bounce

Happy Late Turkey Day to all my friends.

Yesterday we ate baked ziti for our T-day dinner. We are grateful.
We shopped a bit at Rite-Aid and CVS.

I scored my griddle today on line for $7.00!!

I crawled out of bed at 4:00 AM for this thing.
