soooo tired.

Went to TRU at about 4:50 yesterday afternoon to get in line. I was 3rd in line and DH 4th. It was about 30 degrees and we froze our asses off. It was insane by 7 PM. They had about 2 cops and tons of security. The line was all the way around the building. We were lucky and got everything we went for and then some. Then headed to walmart for midnight jammies. Got all of that and some Hot Hands, a Coleman heater, gloves, and hoodie, and left for Home Depot or the LG frontload cherry red washing machine. I was determined not to freeze anymore.

Got there, we were the only ones there. By 2:30 we were still the only ones there so I pulled the car up front and we sat inside with it heating us up. Big Grin We both fell asleep!! lmao Woke up in a panic only to see we were still the only ones there. About 4:15-4:30 a line formed. Got inside and ordered my washer & dryer, grabbed a ladder and a coke and left.

Now, I need a christmas tree. 7-8 ft LED preferred pre-lit, multi colored. I don't want to pay an arm and a leg. Any idea where I can find one? The one at HD was skimpy.

Got home at about 6:30 this morning and crashed.
Did ya get me an extra Santa Sing a ma Jig? I am so sad about it. When DG and I saw the lines I contemplated paying someone in line already with a $10/$100 TRU coupon for them to pick me up 2 then I would pay them $$ for when they got out but DH said no. Sadwalk

Oh - not sure if this is old news to you swaggers out there... but there is a printable coupon section on swagbucks now. You earn 10 sb for each printed and redeemed coupon. Not sure how they will track that, but if nothing else - there's some q's for us...

I also wondered how they would track the coupon swagbucks. When it rolled out a few weeks ago, I quickly printed 2 to see if, by chance, I'd get instant credit. NOT! Can't find a pending record of any sort either. I don't believe they really will only credit upon redeption, thinking maybe they just issue the credits in batches or something.

Somehow mypoints is able to track it. Not sure how, but you get x amount when you print, and then x more amount when you redeem. And you get a bonus if you redeem more than a certain amount per month. That has helped me keep accumulating, since I have fallen behind in clicking through the emails. Embarrassment

Thanks, very interesting! I need to remember to check MyPoints and Swagbucks regularly for the coupons then.

Well... made it to T for a quick run. I am so clueless w/toy deals, so I came home with no toys. Probably didn't help to have the 2 littlest ones w/me. I did get a jenny jump up thing for the baby, a sonic care toothbrush, 2 oral b toothbrushes, pepcid, maalox, tgif & curel. laugh out loud I wish I had another sonic care q - could've sworn that I had 2!
The only toys I got were a few leapfrog toys with the $10 MQ sjm made a 3pp. They didn't scan, but printed LF have never scanned for me, and when the cashier entered the coupon numbers it added $10 to my total! lol I told him I would do missed coupons at CS and they did the missed coupons with no problems. I got two of the sonic care, I have four now & no more coupons, love that the $25 MQ does not need a override or anything, I wish I had a few more of those MQs too. All four of those are gifts and I would like to get a sonic care for the kids too. But they do pretty good with the Oral B $12.98 ones. People were kinda looking at me weird that I was getting TGIF when the line was such a long wait, if they only knew! I could care less if they ended up melted, but they didn't.

30 degrees would have been spectacular!! Not sure exactly what the low was last night here but it was forecast to be around 15, though I think I recall someone saying it got lower than that --- definitely below 10 degrees with windchills. We had a tent full of people + the hot hands thing in our gloves and shoes + the Coleman heater. I had at least 3 layers on for the most part.....long underwear, then jeans/sweatshirt, then snowpants and coat over top. 2 hats on, gloves + mittens, 3 pairs of socks, tons of blankets and STILL freezing.

The 18 lbs. of lost weigh (insulation) was not helping anything. There's just no sleeping in that - about impossible!
I hate being cold, I am so glad we do not have that tradition! I didn't even leave until 10:30 am. I thought I wanted the $5 jammies at Target and there were still some left, I went with the $10 set, the others are just to thin. I am glad you are back home and warm, I don't think I could have stayed out there for anything. I would be the one in the car with the heaters blasting.

I was going to try a toy coupon to see if it beeped but it was so crowded in that area and I didn't have a game plan for toys so I just grabbed a few leapfrogs and left.

Thanks for the info! How much are the rugs? I should maybe spruce up the place a bit - at least do *some* kind of winterish decorating.

Yeah, I think most folks have said that the leapfrog ones never scan. *shrug* I sooooo wish I could find that dumb extra toothbrush coupon. I'm certain I have at least 1 more! I am going to give the one I did get to my hubby for christmas - he's a toothbrushing fiend and will absolutely LOVE it. It'll be $2.xx after the rebate! Sheesh - can't beat that!

Yeah, I had some funny looks when I put down the tgif, prevacid, and maalox. The only "toy" item I had was a jenny jump up thingy. laugh out loud I saw some lady with a whole cart full of nerf toys - was there a deal on these?

Lots of toys being carted out. I *tried* to go down the toy aisle, but my 3 y.o. started to cry for a toy and I just wasn't going to try and stay. I would like to get the candy land game at least. I may see if I can sneak out tomorrow sometime. If not... oh well.

I think the baby is sick. Frown She is not happy at all and sounds really hoarse. She just whines and whines right now. My arms feel like they will fall off!

I hope she's feeling better soon!

I bought 3 different ones. The doormat that is dark green with a poinsettia and says "Joy" at the bottom (12.99), and the one each of the green reindeer mat and red w/ Santa mat (these are 4.99).

I have lots of the 4.99 mats. Evillaugh
