Does anyone have a spare Sonicare rebate form?
Who has made ice cream cone cupcakes? I am attempting them today and have looked at several different recipes. Some call for stuffing a real cupcake inside an ice cream cone after the cupcake has been cooked. Others call for pouring the batter directly into the cone and then baking it. Which method works better?

Going for the Sonicare TB today and try TQ on the right one.
My DH has been fighting a cold for almost a week. We are leaving Thursday morning for 2 day anniversary trip to Gatlinburg, and he better be well.. Hopefully he won't give it to me by then
HD- Got the cancellation notice for my LOTR blurays last night.. Made me kinda mad that they didn't honor their prices.. The email said something about demand for the item exceeded their supply.. but, I read that many got cancelled. I don't know if anyone got their's shipped, and alot of the stores had pulled them off the shelf
I had already told DH if both of mine shipped that I was sending HDDVD one because of all the RAOK you have sent me

Anyway, thanks, Nikayla, for the hints on doing the Barbie/barrier cake. :D Once I interpreted it all, it sounds fairly easy. My sister also suggested using the Pampered Chef batter bowl (I think that's what its called - the glass mixing bowl with a handle and lid), since it would make a nice dress shape. I have that bowl, so I'm thinking that's the way to go! Now to pick out a princess doll. Why didn't I know about this idea LAST week, when the TQ was still working???
OK, off to drink my coffee and plan my trip to RA and Target! Lots of deals this week, but I think I have a handle on it. At least more so than other weeks...

Morning all, on the cyber Monday lookout for Uggs for Mini Thrift. I think they are UGLY but she wants them and she's a good kid who works and helps with El Jay and maintains honor roll status. Lemme tell ya, helping with El Jay is no small feat! :insane:

So, on the secret santa thing.. I read someone say they were shipping before Thanksgiving, some after, and someone even mentioned we all ship on the 10th.. so what are the majority here doing? I will be completely honest.. I am a SS slacker and haven't shipped yet. I am still collecting a few things for my person.. trying to make it personal is hard when you don't know someone;)
And, I can't figure out where I am supposed to enter my address on the site, so how does the person know how to ship to me?

Soooooooo... some super sweetie on the SF thread just RAOKed my family 6 tickets to Disney for Friday for the taping of the ABC parade thing. Free parking, free park entrance for the day. So I guess we're going to Disney World on Friday!
I have been to the Macy's Tday Parade twice - once in 1999 just single mom me and my then 18month old, we stayed at the W in the theatre district and walked a block or two and had a great view. Second time was with DH and then 2 kids - the baby in the backpack carrier and that was HORRIBLE, drove into the city then took the subway into Times Square ! Ugh- it was so crowded I could breathe. We saw Big Bird then left to go to the Park.

... oh and tootsie, you know that mascara i was superduper excited about? yeah. not. opened box to use today. it is so heavily fragranced with this strong, powdery scent, one layer on my lashes and i went into pre-migraine mode within minutes. figured it will go away when i step out. nope. had to run to a bathroom and wash off all the makeup off my face just to get the mascara off. lovely.
so, i'm out 14 bucks and no mascara replacement. which product developer thought it was a good idea to have perfumed mascara and have it smell like cheap car air freshener?
so now my plea: whoever in the universe sent this time-wasting, totally-annoying, energy-depleting, bad luck run to me, can you please, please, please, please, please take it back. i am begging here. i think i've had enough fun for one weekend. and i need to get to T tomorrow. without falling or getting parking tickets or having qs refused. sigh.

Bake them right in the cone. Just don't fill them up all the way. about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way full is good. I used a mini muffin pan to stand the cones up in and it worked out great.
