Speaking of cakes...that has been one of my cravings. Snickers cake! German chocolate cake with holes poked all through it and caramel poured into all the holes with whipped cream for frosting and chopped up frozen snickers bar on top. I've made that cake 3 times this past month, as well as a strawberry cake and red velvet and cookies...and the list goes on and on. I was shocked as all get out to see that I lost 1 lb from my last OB appt. Toss Thanksgiving in there and I was Faint

Next month it'll be a 20 lb weight gain. Roll

Ya never know.......I ate and ate and ATE and ate some more with my dd. I was hungry all the time and ate constantly. Barely gained any weight at all. Weighed less after I had dd than I did before the pregnancy Smilie I don't suppose I will be that lucky if there's a next time Teehee Please

m2c... hot chocolate, if/when you run out, i find the best hot choc mix is homemade and as a plus it has no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. just get some semisweet or unsweetened chocolate bars ( a good baking/cooking kind, not the eating kind that's full of other junk), grate or shave into a cup, add some sugar, a drop of vanilla extract and warm skim milk. done.

or you can premake mix at home - good cocoa powder, and sugar. mixed up. put in a jar. whenever you are ready to make some hot chocolate, warm some skim milk, add a drop of vanilla extract and a spoonful of the sweetened cocoa powder. done.

i like using a small whisk when i make the hot cocoa... makes it deliciously creamy and frothy.

AND, i agree with others - this doc needs ditching. after meeting with good docs and bad docs for different things i have come to the conclusion that the best doctors for the best outcomes are ones who take a positive approach to health/healing, and who believe in working with the body rather than medicating/testing the bejeezus out of you. our mental outlook has a big impact on our bodies -- most doctors will agree with that, there are tons of studies showing that -- but i have come to the conclusion that our doctors' outlooks have a big impact, too, because they effect our psychological viewpoint.

That's nice of you! I bought 10 on e-junkie last night for .98 since I had some free PayPal funds. So DH and I go to Kohl's tonight and were in a hurry, so I just picked up 2 clearance shirts for him that I had seen before. Store was dead since it's an ice rink outside, and there was only one cashier, a young gal. DH heads out to get the car and I gave her the shirts and 2 coupons. She said "Oh, those are 1 per person". I told her DH is just leaving to get the car. She saw us together so she let me do the 2 transactions. All the while she is telling me that they have a notice in their office to only let customers use 1. She told me how people are making hundreds of fake email addresses and you can even get them on eBay. LMAO Glad I didn't walk up to her with a bunch of stuff, she would not have let me do that. I figure by the weekend it will get busy and with many cashiers I can still get my Qs used up, and hopefully they will forget about this. She did tell me of some ladies coming in with 20 and using them in 1 transaction to save $100, well that will get noticed for sure. It sucks living in a small area sometimes, I only have 1 Kohl's to abuse!

Had a fabulous run at target tonight.. It was horrible weather, but made myself go out Wink

Went to Kohls first. Got me some PJ's and my DD some too from the clearance section. Mine were .20 after coupon and hers were 1.50. I am getting tons of stuff for her for Christmas thanks to Kohls. Just wish I could get things the boys would like.

Sad to see my 11/30 coupons go.. Did use up most of them. Grabbed the oral b rechargeables that were 11.60. got the only 3 they had.. also been picking up some of the oral b spin brushes for my youngest DD and my nephew. They have disney princess and some robot kind.. they are super cute for 5.99. Looks like everyone on my list will be getting some kind of toothbrush this year. I got 4 rainchecks for the sonicare brushes cause they were OOS.. Worked good for me cause it gives me time to score some coupons Smilie other than that I got some groceries, duracell, crest, and the usual. Those darn TGI meals were 7.19 here.. I didn't get any, but did grab a few of the TGI snacks like cheese sticks, and potato skins.. They were 2.49 or 2.59 each. Makes me remember the wonderful TGIF 3.00 pdf from last year!

My DH added another night to our cabin rental for our trip this week, so we are gonna leave a day early.. I am super excited for us to have alone time.. But nervous too. I have never been away from my DD one night in her life. Even when I had my appendix removed, my DH brought her to the hospital. I am gonna miss her so much!

I was just thinking about those TGIF coupons yesterday! We would have TGIF parties, just to clear out my freezer. Big Grin I got my brother and his wife hooked on them, too.

Raining like crazy here. Joy. I have Bloom runs to make, Target runs to make, and hopefully Harris Teeter to get some cheap chicken. No time for rain! And I can't find those clearanced umbrellas to save my life!
