i'm tired of being down, too. i'm also tired of days that bring me down. but that sounds like a chicken and egg tale, no?

i know about maalox, but gas x is giving overage? say how, puhlease?

slowt, i thought people are reporting that the gc glitch has disappeared. not so for ponds?

bought some dark gingerbread cake. it is all i want to eat right now. more and more and more moist, dark gingerbread cake just like mum used to make when were teeny.
but i only had a couple of slices. only.

speaking of doubling qs, giant/stop and shop shoppers... next week is dollar doublers week. generally they only have them in their home mailed fliers. too late to get em delivered to your home, but you can go post in the relevant threads and see if anyone has extras to trade/raok. that's how i got my first set ever.

also a good time to go online to their site and sign up for the fliers so you're set for future doubler events.

If anyone here is near a Bloom, they are super doubling coupons. Their K-cups are on sale for 6.79 (12-pck). Use the Folger's $1/1 MFQ for a fairly decent price on K-cups. Buy some Colgate toothpaste and get overage to go towards the coffee.

Did you read about the changes to their coupon policy? Only doubling 4 like coupons per transaction now. As it was I find very little to get a good deal on at Giant any longer.


What is the policy for the super doubling? Dh just came home and they had no clue at the Bloom here.

Which Bloom did he go to? My ad says its applicable at Purcellville, Annandale, Ashburn, Sterlng, Herndon, Marshall, Leesburg, Warrenton, Bealeton, Fairfax, Woodbridge, Dale City, Lorton, Manassas, Dumfries, and Haymarket. There are no signs up, and I'm sure none of the cashiers are aware of it. It just works. I've read 20 coupons, so that's what I limit my transactions to. No idea if they stop doubling after 20. But I have done multiple transactions in a day and had them all double successfully. So you can try again!

i cannot get into stop and shop. i always give my doublers to bff. don't you have to buy 15.00 to use the doublers? i can never find 15.00 to buy b/c it's always cheaper at shoprite and they double 4mq's up to .99 all the time. both my stop and shops now double all the time so i did great for the movie deal but other than that i can never find anything to buy there. last sunday we even bought the star ledger at dollar tree in the same plaza b/c it's 1.00 instead of 2.00 at stop and shop.

it's always been 15 but how stores interpret that is ymmv. some stores do 15 before qs. so you can do well.
i like shopping there for some of the cat deals. you can really find some great deals. for example this summer i got boxes of kashi granola bars free after cat.
then there was this breyers ice cream deal. 62c for 1.5qts!!
then there was the cereal deal.
earlier in the year they had a cat on all nature's promise items. nature's promise is their natural/organic line. i got so much organic produce and saved 5 bucks on every $15 spent. the cat deal on visa gcs earlier in the year was also great. made it a MM. you just have to look out and start learning to spot their deals. they have a lot of great deals hidden.
plus we're in a gas rewards area - are you - so frequently there are items that are free after q but they give you gas points. this summer with one of the deals i saved 1.25 per gallon. good options like that.

so funny in my neck of the woods, SNS is perhaps the cheapest of the large established mainstream stores.
there's a discount chain that is cheaper on some things, but they're also dirty and crowded in most of their stores.

i have found by the way that there is a BIG difference in selection, cleanliness, ambience, customer service, everything between the regular stop and shops and the Super Stop and Shops. not sure if there is such a thing as a Super Giant, but if there is, might be worth exploring.

tootsie... vodka infused whipped cream... bet it doesn't have enough vodka. one can never have enough vodka. i vote for mixing vodka into whipping cream and then using one of those hand held whipped cream pumps for instant vodka-drenched whipped cream.

oh and what's the point of driving in a civilized fashion when you have a liquor store at hand? that's when you cut those people off and say "gotta quench my thirst; i haven't had a drink all day" but you were good, instead. i give you points for being good.
