Why are my stores so behind?? Ugh. They hardly have any of the little shorts left, and they are still at 3.98/4.98. Bah.

Am I not looking in the right place? The cheapest we have here is 1.89. I was like whaaattt???

Well... I don't know.

I went to T tonight. Forgot half my q's, so it was just kind of eh...
Check the very bottom shelf where the Suave is - there should be 3-4 different kinds of shampoo/conditioner. One variety I know for sure is less than $1 is the Daily Clarifying.

OK, so which one of you kept outbidding me at the last minute last night for 10 Kohl's Coupons? I tried to win about 10 different auctions and someone kept beating me... :ugh:

Jamie: Nice toy haul...very nice of you to keep those less fortunate in mind. I donated 4 huge boxes of food yesterday to the church in my neighborhood. Just seeing their wide-eyed expression as I kept bringing stuff in was enough Smilie

Thrifteh: Scary about the CO!! Glad you had a working detector. Probably not fun to do a fire drill in the cold NE weather. Nono

Melkevdev: I have extra Halls coupons. What is this hefty bogo you speak of? I am probably most definitely up for a trade. LMK!

Hope everyone has a great day!! There is snow everywhere here, but I must get to T today to look for PJs and Sonicare (If my Qs come). Has anyone gotten RCs for the sonicare?
Is the Sonicare price just for this week, or is it longer?

OMG Thrift I am so glad you guys are ok and had the detector! Thanks for the reminder.
Ours are out in the garage, DH knows where they are, or so he says. I just told him and said go get them so we can put them up (I have ask him to do it several times!) he said, "meh.... they are old, old technoligy. Go the the fire station and ask for new ones, they will probably give them to you for free." Annoyed I think I am going to go out to his beloved garage and just start digging through everything until I find them. I bought them right before we moved about 6 years ago and we only had them up for a few months. I really don't see how that makes them so old they won't work.

I got rainchecks for them yesterday, they had the pad out because they were already out of them Annoyed

Glad to know I'm not the only one! I, too, have gotten better at buying things that aren't necessarily free or whatever. Its just frustrating at times to find a new recipe and realize I have just about zero of the ingredients. laugh out loud

*snip*
I started a binder of recipes....I print them out when I find one I want to try and then I can be on the lookout for deals on items that are in the recipe. Seems to work OK...then we can try it once I have all the stuff. Sometimes if it's one or two things I need an they're cheap I pick them up then.

Finally got out into the garage and organized all the toys we are donating. I am soooo excited. bounce

I still have tons and tons more to go through but this is the biggest chunk of it.
worship Wow, that puts me to shame laugh out loud You are awesome!!!

If you do not have a carbon monoxide detector in your home GET ONE! Ours went off at 5:30 this morning showing levels higher than 100 PPM. That = evacuate immediately! CO is not something you can smell or see. so the only way you'd know you had CO leak is with a detector.
GLAD you all got out OK. So with you on having one....when I was in high school my cousin's family DID NOT have one and had this happen in their home. The ONLY reason they survived is because the husband/dad was working a night shift and came home to find his family sick/passed out/trying to get out but unable to if I remember correctly. Because even if you wake up because you are feeling icky from it a lot of times you are too sick to make it out at that point.

I will never be without a CO2 detector. Carbon monoxide = scary...very glad you all are OK!

They are Hefty OneZip Quart Freezer Bags (18ct) when you purchase one Hefty Onezip ValuePack (25-40ct). They are also JMS. Smilie

Check the bottom shelf- daily clarifying, coconut and some blue one are under $1. Of course, my store only has the shampoo that cheap- not a single conditioner. So go figure. But there are bigger bottles of different scents for $1.3x. Then the professionals line is $1.92 here.

So. I did my exchange for the Vaseline to get my GC (they had some of the wrong ones on display and I picked one of them up), except that she put both bottles (return & exchange) back in my bag and I never noticed. I want to take it back (I feel bad), but I won't be back in that direction before we move.

Wow. I'm so glad you guys got out. 5 years ago my best friend lost her mom the day after Christmas to a CO leak. Her dad had to be put in the special chamber thing to slowly bring him back. He made it, but the loss of her mom was completely devastating to her whole family. I flew up there for 10 days to take care of her kids and help her with funeral arrangements. It was horrible. As soon as I got back home we went and bought detectors for our whole family. Did they figure out what was leaking?

Hi everybody -- making a quick post, then going to continue catching up -- I hope! We are across the state at my mom's and an internet connection is iffy. She doesn't have it but lives in a condo plus there is a motel nearby so there is usually an unsecured connection but yesterday I got on for just a few minutes and then couldn't connect at all the rest of the day or night. (And, I don't need a lecture on the ethics of using someone else's connection. If you beam it into my house, I can use it.)
===========================
Now, the iPod 32gb deal at Target. The 10% iPod coupon and the $15 gc on a $150 purchase coupons those were sent in the mail weren't they? Is there anywhere else to find them? Dang, I want this deal BADLY.

Initial Price: $295
- 10% iPod Coupon found in the back of the Target Holiday mailer
= $268.50
- $30 Gift Card (Included with iPod Touch purchase)
= $238.50
- $15 Gift Card ($15 GC with $150 purchase found in the back of the Target Holiday Mailer)
= $223.50 + tax
=====================================
We made a couple Target stops on our way across the state. I had all my coupons and the TGIFridays were stocked decently. I got excited then I remembered that the B2G1 was over.

It's nice to see my mom, nice to see our son, but I am so ready to go home. I've just been uneasy about this trip since before we left. I have no idea why and there isn't anything any different now than any other time. I miss my monster dog and I'm worried about her (she's home). We have a fenced yard, a doggy door, they have way more than enough food and water, and a neighbor keeping an eye on them.
We are going home Sunday or Monday. (Sunday, I hope)
=====================================
Ok, enough whining. Hope everybody is having fun with all your Christmas shopping, baking, decorating, etc. Off to catch up on the 8 new pages!

Thrifty - Glad you guys made it out safe...

Day before yesterday night at 3 am our security alarms went off...Dh was fast asleep and I had to wake him up..We switched off the alarm and went out to see what happened..Facepalm Can you imagine our horror when we saw our front doors were fully open..yes full open..We ran back inside our rooms, not sure on what to do..Then we remembered the delivery guys for our washer dryer had come in thru the front door and I had forgotten to lock them back..EEK! Also there were heavy winds outside that would have caused the door to open..EEK!..We went out, closed the doors, checked arnd the house and everything was fine...

Now that I think about it we did not make wise decisions...We should have stayed inside, never switched off the alarm and waited for the security agency to contact us...I don't even want to think about if there was someone really inside the house...
