I totally think I got scammed on ebay. I won one of those Santa Sing a ma jigs I wanted so badly on BF at TRU and missed out on. I actually bid on 2 different peoples auctions and asked the one with the higher $ to cancel but they haven't and won't gave me some BS but IDK....I really want one and then they were in stock at TRU.com and I didn't buy cause they was S/H and .. what does Thrifteh says? Meh! I will get my $$ back from ebay/paypal right?

Bought 2 Shawn White clearance tees with the 'new' TQ and it was beep-free/attached. Bought the same shirt on Thursday with the 'old' TQ and it beeped. 076172014 076172028

All I can think about when I see one of those things @ Target or Kohls is that their mouths look just like a "blow up doll" when it sings! lol They kind of weird me out...
Idk about Ebay, ive never had to cancel and order before, sorry Frown

the seller always has an option whether to cancel someone's bid/purchase or not. if the seller refuses and the auction is still ongoing all you can do is hope someone else will bid. but other than that, ebay/paypal will not just give you a refund because someone else's item was priced lower and you found that later. they consider a bid a binding contract, so unfortunately, unless i am misunderstanding the circumstances, you are out of luck with ebay/paypal.

however, if the item is still ongoing, with a decent amount of time left in the auction, and you realized you mistakenly bid the wrong price or such, you can retract your bid. there are 3 or 4 different reasons for which you can legitimately retract your bid. can't remember if wrong item is one of them.

also, if you receive the item, and it is not as described, or if the item didn't ship on time, you can ask for a full refund and return/decline the item.

but other than those instances, your best bet is to communicate with the seller again, in the nicest way, and see if you can negotiate something.

nope, don't think it's food poisoning.
is he allergic to any food, medicine? nope
is he lactose intolerant? children with lactose intolerance can throw up/get diarrhea with dairy products. nope, and he's even been drinking free Silk from target. Except not last night.

outside of the time, and the days, it's worth going back and looking:
what else was in common the day/night before --
did he eat particular foods? Can't think of anything.
in particular dishes?
was the food kept in a certain place?
were there common ingredients?
did he complain of any common symptoms before or after? Nope
did he take any meds/vitamins/supplements the day before? Just the same flinstones he always takes.

also, were there any events planned for the day he threw up that could be making him nervous/anxious? did anything happen in school/was going to happen in school that could make him feel that way? Well, 2 weeks ago it was our birthday. Today was a family christmas thing and then spending the night with his Papa. Don't think that's an issue, something he loves to do.

there could be physiological things, of course. but i'd rule out environmental stuff first. good luck and hope he feels better!
Thanks, I've pretty much gone over most of those things in my head. Can't really remember any similarities between the days before. Thanks for taking the time to try to help figure it out! Hmm, I answered in red (or so I thought) to questions inside your quote. They're there, but not red. I obviously don't know how to do that!

I guess more than anything, I'm worried why his immune system seems to be faulty! I know it's not really, but still. Seems like it right now. He's healthy in every other way. Growing way too fast, legs way too long. He's just a size down from his brother that's 3 years older than him. Guess I'll stop worrying.

women at the women's shelter for poor/homeless women. Big Grin
that's where i give stuff. they love it -- even trial size cosmetics and perfumes. they put them together as small little presents for birthdays/holidays for the ladies.
plus they get clothes a few times a year, too.

or you could do a giveaway... in any one of your fav SD threads. assuming you have other fav threads. laugh out loud

or you could sell em on ebay/craiglist. right now around pre-holiday you'd get lots of takers, especially if you did it as a LOT sale, where there are xx number of sets in one.

believe it or not... i don't have a single one of these clearance ones yet. every time i went to a store looking, they only had some shorts 30% off and tanks 30% off. seriously? OMG

i always get so banged up and bruised and cut during moves. and almost every time there have been lots of tears of frustration and exhaustion.
so sorry.
if you have a dollar tree near you, i saw 6 and 8 packs of the furniture moving floor saver thingies that you can put under dressers, tables, appliances etc to get them to slide across floors when you push. saves a lot of effort. and at a buck a bag that's totally worth it.
unless of course you have carpeted floors.

how far along are you guys with packing up the truck? was today an all-packing day?
