But ... hubby gets to come home early today, due to dealing with work emergencies for 3 hours at home last night (I was gone at a sales meeting, and he was supposed to be knocking down some serious cleaning). Needless to say, he got hardly anything done, which is why we're in crunch mode this morning. But like I said, he does get to come home early, so we can work together to finish everything.
OK, off to turn on some super energetic music and get it done!!!
So my question is - who is going to come clean my house for me? And put away all the random bags of crap? I'll even fire up the Keurig for you!
Has anyone else gotten the Folgers Vanilla Biscotti k-cups? So yummy!! I think it is my current favorite.

Fighting a stupid cold and want to do nothing, but I must get things done in my house too.. MY kitchen has dishes stacked in the sink, over the counter, and on the table.. I can't stand it!
Flug - I can totally sympathize with you.. When we were leaving to go out of town last week, I was in major stress zone cause my inlaws were coming over.. I worry more about my house when they come, then anyone else. And knowing they were gonna be here for 3 days was alot of pressure. I felt like my closets, pantry, refrigerator, and everything had to be clean. I almost made myself sick worrying about it. Then, I realized.. I have flaws, and I have been the in family for 20 years now.. so either they have learned to accept it by now, or I don't care. It just seems like my SIL has the "perfect clean and organized house".. of course, she only has one kid and he is in daycare all day
I agree with TN - Enjoy having your parents there and try not to worry about the rest! I miss my parents so much this time of year. My daddy LOVED Christmas time!
My DD has finally learned to ride her tricycle
Deal alert- Don't know how many of you follow the CVS forums, but there is a pretty good deal this week on the Zu Zu pets.. My DD got one last year, but I have no idea where it is now. I am gonna grab her a few more, and get some for the toy donation box.
They are on sale for b1g1 this week, and there is a printable CVS coupon for b2g1 free
I plan on getting 6, getting 3 free with the sale, and getting 2 free with the coupon ( YMMV cause the coupon says one per person, but my jedi is working tonight).. So, I will buy 1 and get 5 for free
or you can get 4, 2 free with sale, and 1 free with coupon.. buying 1 and getting 3 free

I just posted my 4 sonicare Tb's on craigslist! I hope they will sell. I also posted my sons old snow boots, his feet grow like crazy so I have to buy him new ones. He only wore them a couple of times last year. Selling them for $10, that will help cover the cost of new ones.

flug, if it's any consolation, house is a mess and i really need to do a marathon amount of cleaning in the next few days (say i, procrastinating some more).
so... you have company.
you know, i think all of us should set a day as cleaning day, when all of us will be cleaning at the same time. like a 4 hour marathon. or a 6 hour marathon. no talking here. just cleaning.
and then we can come back and commiserate and post our cleaning victories.
i have found i love having houseguests, because the house gets much cleaner before they arrive, and after the sytems i put in place/the stuff i sorted through, stays sorted/organized. which means every time someone comes, my home gets a little better.

Awesome too on the Zhu Zhus. Is this a weekly deal or did it start today? I ask because we have only 1 CVS and every time I have tried to do a deal (been about 2 years), everything is OOS ASAP. Wonder if I should even waste the ink.
