Good Morning my most favorite mean people(s)

Well what a whirlwind day we had yesterday and this morning! So much for being able to get online. I have not had a chance to get online at all yesterday.

Our dryer broke! Ugh...but alas, I am a genius, yet again. Well not really. But...

I called the repair guy instead of just assuming the dryers death. I told him that we were poor (this is the same guy who came out to look at the washer) and bartered with him. I gave him tons of stuff in exchange for his service call. Well the dude comes out and says, oh, it's a gas dryer, I can't touch this, I don't have my license. So instead of losing all hope, I said to him, well IF you had your license what would you do?

He went over step by step what he would do. So I said..gee that's what DH was about to do. I offered the guy a cup of coffee and he told DH step by step what he would do. DH went to work. In the end, it was a pretty easy fix. DH didn't have the tools to do it, but just happened that the repairs guys tools kept falling on the floor, so DH picked it up and used it. Just happened the repair guy had the part we needed and it fell on our floor. Just happened the tool we needed to test the parts fell on the floor.

So, it cost us $35.00 and some bartering stuff and my dryer is fixed. I am proud of DH for having the bravery to mess with the thing and I am proud of myself for taking the brave stance I did.

Then we headed out to Rite Aid this morning and ran around like crazy and got ourselves a Christmas Tree!! It's not anything fancy, but it's a tree and it's ours!!

Now I have laundry to catch up on. I have reading to do and I have to clean the laundry room.

All my e-mails transfered over nicely. I will need to update yahoo with my new e-mail and let everyone know our new e-mails.

And in addition, DH ran out to Target yesterday and scored. So we have about $160.00 towards our blue ray player and need to make enough to get the toggle thing for wi-fi.

That is all.

Oh dearies I just cannot seem to get caught up this morning!!

Stayed up WAY too late last night trying to get the Groupon credits on SD's FP to work in my account....site was crawling. Did manage to get some of them though and now have $40 in Groupon credits. Now I need to find some good Groupons to buy Teehee

So then @ 2:30 AM dd wakes up, then wakes me up --- "Where's Daddy at???" --- DH had never come to bed. All the lights were still on upstairs, dogs were whining and crying because the house wasn't all 'shut down' and quiet for the night and they aren't used to it. Found dh asleep downstairs in his office....which he does occasionally if I stay up way late but usually he at least mentions to me that he is going to do this Annoyed Wasn't real thrilled as dd was now up and awake. Then found out her diaper had leaked through onto the bed and had to change the sheets. We were all finally back to bed between 3:30-4 and then of course slept in some thanks to the interrupted night.

Now I am tired and feel like doing nothing today LMAO Good day for it though --- not much to do that is very pressing. Hopefully dd will at least take a good nap for me.

It took me a minute cause I looked in the printable thread first.. But, I finally decided to search target deals thread. I found mine by searching "hasbro" and it was like the 6th post listed.

I agree the search function is not easy sometimes
TY! hug I looked in the printable thread too, useless for me once again. lol I swear I printed the hasbro from a link here in chat. Yeah, I have to remember to just bookmark stuff if I think I need it again.

Ponds is $5.19. Buy two = 10.38

Use 2 - $1.50 IP [coupons.com] = 3.00
Use 2 - $1.50 TQ = 3.00

Pay $4.38 and earn $5 GC. Padding was needed for the GC glitch last time I did it. Must have $10 after all MQ's in your transaction are applied. I just added a Visa GC and then had the cashier scan the coupons and then had cashier remove the Visa GC.

I think the end date for the promo is 12/18.

ank, you feeling any better sweetie? is a kohls trip in the cards for you? Wink
bronc, how are you feeling?

anyone heard from kallison? how's she doing?

i was going to say something else to you folksies, but now i can't remember it. been a long day. and sad. i'll go fold laundry now.

hug: to all of you!

*snip*
have you tried wrapping on the bed? with one of those back support pillows?
or on the dining table while sitting on a barstool?
or at a desk with an adjustable office chair?

i tend to sit on a pillow on the floor, with my back against a couch. and i draw the coffee table close to me and wrap on the table. perfect height. that way i can also stretch my legs out under the table.

i heart: wrapping. it's my thing. i wrap elaborately. and i like doing themes. so i match colors of papers and ribbons and do a handful of greens and golds for one person, blue and silver for someone else, brown and red and cream for someone else etc.

i need reassurance that my choices are not blah. want to be my reassurance person? Big Grin

how are you feeling?
I'm not sure how many Kohls Qs, but no more than 5~! Smilie my BFF and I are going tomorrow for warm tops.
I've tried everything for wrapping but I have to wrap on the floor but having wood floors, but butt goes numb, my back starts hurting, and my disc problems in my neck flare up. HO HO HO Annoyed Roll

sign up if your city is participating in groupon (just do a search based on zip) and the deal changes daily. You can then buy (for example) a $20 giftcard for a local restaurant for $10. I bought several and have had great luck with awesome restaurants in town. Some days, they may not have a local offering so they offer an online alternative like 50% off at Red Envelope. No problems when redeeming either Smilie

you're shitting me right? I thought there were 12 dwarfs. Okay, what the hell has 12??

So, we brought the new furniture in and, as DH was pushing the couch back, the leg snagged my toe and ripped a chunk of skin off.

Is December over yet?
Cookies? Me love a dozen cookies nom nom nom!

dude. I require a bottle of wine and a bottle of Advil for that task. Shocking Annoyed I soooo dread doing ours'. I'll shop all day, but wrapping is NOT my thing.
Do any of your friends or neighbors have junior high/high school aged kids, what about getting your babysitter to do it for you? Pay them in T gift cards to wrap. My mom has used Becca over the years. With 6 kids and 10 grandkids that's a lot of wrapping!

You can sit by with your hot cocoa/schnapps and direct the festivities. Whee Shenanigans!

Caught in deals that the $60 iTunes GCs (4 x $15) are on sale for $48. Can anyone confirm? This is on Mini Thrift's very short Christmas list!
