Hmmm I can't wait til this maddness is over!! The running around and wrapping gifts for 5 hours at a time is killing me but my goal is ALL my wrapping that needs to get done is done b4 Friday... then of course, I will shop some during the weekend... and bring home LOTS of goodies.. then wrap those HAHA!!

So what does everyone need still for gifts? I need to pick up one laptop ( I think I found it finally), a dsi and possibly a ds... then a gc for my dad... my mom wants a cotton candy machine... then to find something for my dh's dad... other than that possibly more stuff for my brothers baby... and some sort of gift for my brother... than I am done!! YAY!!

So tomorrow if I can get another 5 hours of wrapping in, if not more I should be on the right track.. then the next day the same I can HOPE that all this wrapping will be done...
have not wrapped anything yet. people are always around me.
have a lot of shopping to do still, also. almost all of it, in fact. heard on the radio today that according to latest surveys most people nationwide have not only not finished their shopping yet this year, many have not begun. another sign of the recession.

the part i'm really stressed about are the stocking stuffers cos i really like the stuffers to be great useful stuff. oops cant finish thought right now. interlopers.

interlopers dispersed.

i'm worried about those filler gifts/stocking gifts. the big ones are always easy. but the smaller things - i seem to remember all kinds of stuff all year long, and write it down, but by the time xmas rolls around it's no longer applicable or i can't remember something i knew i wanted to get. blah, blah, blah.

stressful.

very tired. long, full day. then evening shopping and evening housework.

cooked dinner: sea bass broiled with fresh dill and fresh garlic, sauteed kale, roasted acorn quash, roasted potatoes, steamed broccolini, sauteed beet greens, boiled beets, cornbread, choc chip cookies.

lots of sides, with a tender light fish. yummy. but lots of work.

did dishes, put away leftovers, cleaned up, paid bills, wrapped family phone calls, made todo list for tomorrow, checked sd. Faint

going to bed. have an early start in the am plus so much to do in the evening. . and i haven't finished reading my sd threads. oh well.

santa needs to drop off help for every do-er. that's what santa's job should be, rather than touting an imaginary sleigh full of gifts that need budgeting, shopping, hiding, wrapping and hiding again. but i heart santa. now can i have an assistant please? Please

Just popping in for a sec. I finished wrapping all the gifts including my stocking stuffers then I organized and purged my Qs. :thud: Damn I'm tired! Anyways, I wanted to share this awesome site that my friend sent me. www dot skinnytaste dot com. She posts awesome pictures and all her recipes have the WW points listed. I made the crockpot chicken taco chili last night and it was great. Ok meanies... have a good night. I'm going to try to get some shopping done tomorrow! Whee
Good grief. I only thought about organizing q's - didn't get anywhere near doing it - let alone doing half the stuff you did! Where do you get the energy?

Well... I don't know. DH said no gifts since we are going to Ohio, but I am trying to figure out what to get anyways. laugh out loud Surely I can come up with some stuff!! I've got to figure out stuff for 12 nieces/nephews. I may be hitting up the dollar spot and filling some of those little gift bags with goodies. It's something, eh??

As for my kids, I've got a few little goodies for my 3 y.o., and I'm hoping to be able to sneak in an exersaucer purchase (yay for the mq on T's website!!), but no clue for my 14 y.o.

You know what... I keep thinking that maybe I could figure something out if I could just go and do some shopping without the baby. I think I am going to pump for the next few days and then leave the baby with DH!! Why not?? That would hopefully give me some time to do the running around and find something for my oldest.

Akron/Canton area - know any good stores?? Big Grin

She does enjoy books, love art supplies/projects, etc... She's been wanting her own camera for a while, but I don't know how I could pull that one off. I haven't even bought myself one! *laugh*

You know, she would adore something like photo shop I think. She's always messing around with altering her photos, etc...

Or hair dye... *laugh*

Am I really that old!?! I have NEVER dyed my hair... like in my entire life LMAO I would say make a kit.. maybe buy like the sterlite drawer thingy that is like 20 bucksI ... then hunt out like micheals, the dollar spot, etc. they have some cool things that she could use to create things...I have bought digital cameras the last two years and think that the best time to buy them is black Friday.. it just seems like good prices esp. if you can work in a good deal.

I have only went to the stores in Cleveland, me likes Smilie LMAO HUGS!!

I may travel up to Cleveland... Big Grin It's so weird - I used to be in Cleveland ALL the time, but it is so fuzzy to me now. I don't know if I'd know my way around anymore - and we've only been gone 3 1/2 years!!

Oh, and I've never dyed my hair either. Wait... I think I had it highlighted once. *shrug* It's her thing, I guess.

The kit is a great idea. There used to be an awesome paper store in Medina - I may see if it's still there and stock her up on some various papers. They used to be cheap too.

Sounds like newbs were being pains in the butts, according to the post from slayers. I was reading it up until midnight last night and didn't see anything, so it must have happened shortly after I headed for bed.
